I presume that 'options' include not hawking every single one of your playing squad?

Its all about next year. If I can be competitive this year that's great but I am not Benning. One and done in the playoffs isn't considered a success in Tampa ;) .If I can improve for next year I will look at any offers to move playoff guys to do so.

Crawford is probably pretty valuable to a playof team. But I have the luxury of not having to trade him for anything other than a return that makes me better next year. I mean, hanging onto him isn't exactly a bad thing lol.

On behalf of General Manager @D-Money and the Hyde to his Jekyll, @Monty, the Columbus Blue Jackets are pleased to announce the signing of:

On behalf of General Manager @D-Money and his manservant @Monty, the Columbus Blue Jackets are also pleased to announce the re-signing of:

small.png Mike Condon - 2 years, $1.75m AAV

Columbus is happy to secure the services of Condon, whose performance this year in relief of Anderson likely solidifies him as at least a quality backup in the league going forward.

Also, after trading Samsonov and Tomek, and with the career nose-dive of Sparks, we felt it necessary to shore up our goaltending prospects. Phillips has solid potential.

I love trash talking in these leagues. I can handle it. I just don't think anyone wants to see our "serious" arguments with each other about Benning or Desjardins in here.

Trash talk away man it's all good. Let's just keep it light ok?

Jazzatron must have loved Kaprizov's tournament...

I've had my eye on Kaprizov since before the tournament - the tournament only increased his value. Not terribly happy or disappointed one way or the other with what I gave up but I'm getting a great prospect back nonetheless.

Thanks to @pmalina though! I'm happy to get a deal done.

Thanks @thejazz97 as well. It was not easy for San Jose to let Kirill go as he is having one of the best season as a player under 20 in the KHL history. WJC only showed how good he is. We are very happy with the return though. #Kase brothers reunited!

Depending on the 2018 pick, that's a nice deal for San Jose.

Wow.  Our 300 plus point lead on a play off in the East has been disintegrating.  Now less than half that...

But Zibanejad is due back as early as Friday. He's skating again.  Already 2 months since my top scoring forward went out with a broken leg.

And Eric Johnson, also a broken leg Dec 9th, has been skating this week as well. Wonder when he will be back? He was our top D man at the time.

We should be ready to start doing some damage again pucka's!  :towel:
