apollo
John Garrett (you know the drill... greatest etc etc etc... etc etc all time) has tweeted a rumour surrounding Nashville Predators fan favourite Nick "The Bone Show" Bonino john garrett @SNJohnGarrett 17 Jan 2017 It appears, former Canucks Legend, Bonino who learned everything he knows from the Sedins and relayed it to Crosby to help him win a cup is on his way out of Nashville. Nick is arguably the most clutch player in Pittsburgh Penguins history after out performing even Sidney Crosby in the playoffs and leading the Preds to the West final. I can't imagine he'll be sold for cheap, if sold at all. 2016 Playoffs C Bonino, Nick C - PIT Act 1,900,000 2017 132.25 5.51 UFA 24 4 14 9 0 2 1 0 1 16 50 C Crosby, Sidney C - PIT Act 7,700,000 2025 111.75 4.66 UFA 24 6 13 -2 0 3 0 0 1 32 15 When asked to comment, GM Apollo made this statement: "Nick was the main reason I chose to take over this team. Having a player of his caliber who got to learn the game for the better part of a year under the Sedin twins is vital to any organizations success. We're hoping to re-sign Nick, however, should we fail... we may have to sell him to the highest bidder... ideally receiving a playoff bound player back." Beary Sweet
The LA Kings are planning to do a bit of selling and buying as we try to make a deep playoff run this year. We are willing to sell Markov up for sale and if the deal makes sense, we will be willing to retain some salary. We are also willing to take offers on other pending FAs like Kelly, Liles also. The Jets felt that this was a necessary deal to make given the Canucks-like M.A.S.H. unit on our blueline, with Carlson, Hamonic, Larsen down - we needed some depth there. Obviously reluctant to move a player like Anthony Beauvillier, but such is the price of acquiring young defensemen.
Nail
A big night led by McJesus has put us over the 3000 point mark and has us in 3rd in the Metro for the time being Going to need contributions from throughout the lineup to keep this up, as there's a decent chance we won't be getting many goalie points in the foreseeable future. (No, we will not trade for a goalie )
