Canuck Surfer
Not that ESPN or Pronman is the worlds greatest source of scouting advice? But here in Minny we're stoked to have four of the Words top 30 prospects by their rating scale! 5 of the top 50... Congratulations Tyson Jost, Joel Eriksson Ek, Henrik Borgstrom, Travis Sanheim & Olli Juolevi! And even better, instead of constantly crediting all to past GM Nail (but thanks), some of these were also of our own doing. Players acquired via trade (Ek. Juolevi) & aquired with picks acquired by trade (Borgstrom).

Canuck Surfer
Jeeebus! Hairy in downtown Melbourne this arvo. Apparently I left before all the mayhem. All the trains & trams on lockdown. My wife is stuck waiting for it to clear. Apparently some fruit loop jacked a car after getting into a stabbing fight with his brother. Dumped the car owner on a bridge. Took the car to the central business district a few minutes away. Did three doughnuts. Then steered onto the sidewalk and started mowing down people. 20 mowed down, 3 dead, 3 more likely including a 2 year old.

History of family violence. Guy stabs his brother. Then goes nuts. Burnouts in the stolen car front of Flinders station and Federation Square. In Australia that's like Time Square in New York. Hanging out the window giving everyone the bird. Its all over the internet. Then on to the side walk 2 blocks up on the busiest retail strip in the country. Its like he watched the terrorist attack with the truck in France. Terrible.

Master Mind
@Nail @JE14 @Jam126 Draft picks that were carried over from the 2016 draft will be selected at the end of their respective rounds. Washington had a 3rd, 4th, and 5th round pick, and Carolina had a pair of 5ths. Here's how it will look: Round 1 = 31 selections Round 2 = 31 selections Round 3 = 32 selections (first 31 as per draft order, then that last pick, #94, is WSH) Round 4 = 32 selections (same as Round 3, with pick #126 belonging to WSH) Round 5 = 34 selections (first 31 as per draft order, then pick #158 belonging to WSH, then picks #159 and #160 belonging to CAR) Note that these carried over picks cannot be traded. Which means there is a 4th that @thejazz97 can't get his hands on
Master Mind
Normally I hope for a Luongo shutout every time he plays, but I'll be happy if he allows 1 goal... on a Henrik Sedin breakaway... in OT.
somethingvery
League Announcement Those teams that missed picks in the 2016 Entry Draft will have make-up picks at the end of each corresponding round in the 2017 Entry Draft. These picks cannot be traded. The Washington Capitals missed a 3rd rounder, a 4th and a 5th. The Carolina Hurricanes missed two 5th round picks. Therefore, here's how the 2017 Entry Draft will look now: Round 1 = 31 selections Round 2 = 31 selections Round 3 = 32 selections (first 31 as per draft order, then that last pick, #94, is WSH) Round 4 = 32 selections (same as Round 3, with pick #126 belonging to WSH) Round 5 = 34 selections (first 31 as per draft order, then pick #158 belonging to WSH, then picks #159 and #160 belonging to CAR)
