CDC Puck 2016/17

Toronto is making a good push. It was nice to claw back a big chunk of the huge early lead they took on me in tonight's standings.

It is only an unsubstantiated rumor  that the Tampa GM had 50 huge monitors installed in our dressing room that run a live continuous stream of the fantrax daily scoring numbers during intermissions when the players are in there. It's also a vicious rumor that our newly hired sleep doctor has been sending subliminal messages to our sleeping players that continually says "Toronto and Montreal are catching up" with a loud choking noise playing in the background.

We don't know what really did the trick but something sure lit a fire under my players asses tonight lol.

The LA Kings are shopping both net minders in Ward and Kuemper as TDL approaches and Quick nearing a return. A roster player preferably a defenceman but we wouldn't mind taking a forward for a reasonable salary, prospects, and picks are all welcome as a return package. PM me if you're interested

Good news, and really tough news day.

Congratulations to William Nylander on his first career NHL hat trick yesterday! :towel:

And we announce having put Robbi Fabbri on the IR.  Out for the rest of the season, perhaps the start of next with a torn ACL.

Bad news good news day. After a record point total yesterday, we struggled to put up any points today. GM decisions could be the difference in making the playoffs this season. Starting Elliott over Montoya was yet another mistake and misses like leaving Vatrano out for his hattrick game a few weeks ago could prove costly down the stretch.

The good news is that Kenny Agostino has been called up to replace the injured Fabbri

Just as a league-wide FYI, when you send me a contract enquiry, my 'player is considering, we'll respond soon' message means I've now taken that forward to MM and SV for voting. If you've not received that message, then I've not yet taken the offer forward and it will be in the next batch of offers dealt with.

At any one time I have about 20 contracts being offered, so it takes a week or so to get the admin done

Could some please be so kind as to enlighten me on the maximum allowed cap retention in a trade? I am assuming it is 50%, but I couldn't seem to find it stated in any of the league rules on the first page of this thread.

It is 50%.

I was wondering when someone was gonna pick him up.

Well it was meant to be in March, when the Vegas TBCs are allowed to sign players... #gutted

The Habs are excited to welcome back Cody, Marko and Nick for 2 more Years.

Cody is a solid Defender with some offensive Touch who has helped us very well so far.

Marko Dano is a Guy who could play a top 6 Role in 1 or 2 Years. An injury this Season kept him away from better Numbers.

Nick is a more than solid Bottom 6 Player who still has not reached his potential and really helpfull for the Team.

With Brett Howden we signed a great Talent . We are allready excited to seem him in next Seasons Training Camp.
