Reports that Nick Bonino is on his way out of Nashville and that the Predators are hoping for an equivalent rental playoff player in return. However, will be open to non rental players as well.

After learning from Henrik and Daniel Sedin, Nick proved he's better than Crosby when it comes to the playoffs after outproducing him last year. Nick is arguably the most prized TDL trade bait for teams who wish to go deep into the playoffs. Having only produced 3.16FP/gm in the regular season, Nick can surely be signed for a bargain. Certainly higher than his current 1.9AAV but a bargain nonetheless.

Statement from GM Apollo:

"As mentioned before, we've been in talks with Nick's agent but haven't had any luck extending him. If the price isn't right, Nick will not be dealt and we'll have to risk losing him to free agency."

@apollo shopping Bonino.

after all the 'Bone-show' tire-pumping and shots he's taken at Sutter on these boards.

1 - 900 - CAN - SURF

Funny thing?

I do own a board. And have a go once every 3 or 5 weeks.  But surfing is my alter ego. I kinda suck at it...

I miss Seventh Heaven, Black on Black at Cypress, The End of the World ( ) at Lake Louise. I grew up in snow. I'm craving a trip home.

But anyone who wants surf lessons for 1st round picks?  Hell, give me a call as well!

One of my friends just left for a 4-6 month trip to Australia. Gotta say that this is a tempting offer.

Sad to see some great players go. Caggiula's done pretty well for a rookie, and Sedin and Read were able to help out offensively and physically.

That being said, we're excited to land a solid defenseman in de Haan and a solid veteran presence in Doan.

The Washington Capitals are very pleased that we could get a solid return on a couple players with expiring contracts in Doan and de Haan. We unfortunately had to move from a 4th to a 3rd round pick (yeah, that's right - Jazz asked for the 3rd over a 4th...), but we are still very pleased to welcome Daniel Sedin, Matt Read, Jack Roslovic, and Drake Caggiula to the team.

We are very excited about the upside that both Jack and Drake have shown this year. We hope Jack can get back to his early season form when he was close to a PPG in the AHL, and look forward to Drake continuing to show he can do well in the NHL.

Columbus would like to thank @Tigs for the smooth negotiations.

Just tinkering, really. With the RL demotions of Nestrasil and Labanc, and the injury to Nolan, we felt we would be well-served to add another versatile depth forward in Hendricks. The Bieksa-for-Dillon swap is pretty much lateral, but with Hendricks' retention we saved a little bit of cap overall. And we expect to lose a couple of D-men to expansion and free agency at the end of the year, so adding an NHL-ready D-man in Bigras helps shore up our blueline as well.

Saarela and Kuokkanen are both promising prospects, but are probably a couple of years away from making an impact, so this move helps us more in our window. (Carter is just there to even out the contracts.) Glad we could find a deal that fit each teams' needs so well.

CDC Forum's member Apollo has confirmed he stands by his words and still loves the Bone Show. He also loves B Sutta, the guy is a beauty but still believes that trade was a head scratcher... maybe if the salary cap didn't exist it would be fine.

CDCP GM Apollo has declined to comment on the matter.

This just in, @thejazz97 has angered Nashville Predators Captain Luca Sbisa by trading away one of his real life teammates for such a low price.

The phenom known as Sbeezus has sworn to make Arizona pay should they face off in the playoffs.
