I've just spent three hours working on contracts, so a huge batch will be ready for announcing over the coming days. I would say this now: DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE DEADLINE to begin negotiations, if you're looking to trade impending UFAs. We may not get to negotiations in time.

I'm looking at moving Chlapik, Forsbacka Karlsson, and Wagner (and potentially Philadelphia's 1st, depending on another deal that's in the works) for a top young centerman.

Message me if you're interested.

Also, Drew Miller's available for a 5th (or a 4th :P) as he's in the minors but could find his way to a playoff team.

Needs more quantity imo.

Attention all GMs:

As the TDL gets closer, I suspect there will be a high volume of trades. So to save me some time, please send me trades in the same format as

To CAR: Jarome Iginla, 2017 5th (CHI)

To CGY: Jay Bouwmeester, 2017 1st (CAR)

It's not a big deal when it's just one or two trades, but if I have more, the time taken to change it adds up.

Thanks :)

Can anyone tell me, do I treat NCAA players (who were drafted at the NHL level and who's rights are owned by an NHL club) any different from other prospects?

There is no (fantasy) rule about NCAA players not being allowed to be under professional contract?

Considering we lose their rights in two years if we don't sign them (like any other prospect), we pretty much have to sign them.

Also, a number of impending NCAA UFAs have already been signed in the past few months.

All players in GREEN are OTB. Some players will obviously take more then others to obtain. We have gone over the roster and we feel that if we kept the team we have that we would sit at a middle of the pack team. We have a need to get Defenders who can produce fantasy points, as well as a bot 6 that has players playing. Any player that is UNDERLINED I will listen to offers for, but may not move in the end. LOTS here to choose from!

This team lacks depth, and a good D core. We hope to build those both going in to the deadline. We appreciate all the offers that some of you have sent for Holtby, but I will say this now. He is NOT availible, and WONT be availible. Thanks for trying though. :P Get em while the gettin is hot!

I should also say, most minor guys are availible except for a certain few!

Thanks to @Master Mind for processing our trade, and thanks to @Tylez for the pleasant negotiations. While we had to give up a player that was apparently worth our first round pick in Cody Eakin, we are pleased with the return in Rasmus Asplund. We also are happy to welcome Ryan Garbutt to our team. We wish Cody and our early 4th round pick well in Vancouver.

Thanks to @Tigs for some easy as usual negotiations. As well as @Master Mind for quickly processing the trade. We originally weren't going to trade Asplund, But to get a guy like Eakin back will help us too put up more points.  And he can only get better as hopefully Dallas gets better irl. We wish Garbutt and Asplund all the best!

It's been a whirlwind in Washington D.C. ever since the arrival of GM @Tigs McTiggerface. With a get it done attitude and the work of some fantastic rival GM's there have already been 21 players and 2 picks moved in less than a week!

In: Daniel Sedin, Matt Read, Jack Roslovic, Drake Caggiula, Kevin Bieksa, Aleksi Saarela, Janne Kuokkanen, Ryan Carter, Sean Couturier, Riley Tufte, Morgan Ellis, Ryan Garbutt, and Rasmus Asplund.

Out: Shane Doan, Calvin de Haan, Tyler Graovac, Brendan Dillon, Matt Hendricks (50% retained), Chris Bigras, Martin Hanzal, Cody Eakin, 2018 4th (WSH), and 2017 3rd (VAN).

Overall we gained some fantastic youth pieces, and will expect to have a great team in a couple years.

And as previously mentioned we are still open for business, and hope we can work with many more of you on some trades in the future.
