We preach patience to Kings fans as we continue to slip down the standings. Thankfully, we are in full control of 2nd place in the Pacific but it won't be easy in the overall standings as Tampa, San Jose, Nashville continue to chase us down. Quick's return from injury could not come any sooner as boos from the crowd in home games are starting to pour on. The organization would like to thank those who are still supporting the team and standing behind us and we ask the rest to do the same. It won't be easy but we will win and go on a playoff run

Tampa is taking offers on playoff (or potential playoff) assets. Looking for young players, prospects, and picks.

Our most pressing need currently is improving our defense in the top 4, a top 6 center, and adding younger pieces that can fit in for next year and beyond. Tampa is willing to look at all reasonable scenarios. For those wanting to add playoff assets PM me.

Want to thank @thejazz97 for the smooth and fun negotiations, as well as @Master Mind for quickly processing. We are su per excited about bringing in a player of Nick Ritchie's calibre. A young up and coming player who knows how to throw his weight around, we see a bright future for him! We hate to give up that 1st round pick and Hossa, a super star in himself, but it was the only way we could shed his contract with him being 38, as well as we felt this year's draft wasnt the strongest. We wish him all the best!

The only thing I'm worried about is cap. Burns' salary is going up to 9.75, Gaudreau is at 7.25, Loui at 7, Shattenkirk is going to 6.5, Kadri at 6, now with Hossa at 5.275 and me having to re-sign de Haan and Hutton, it should be interesting to see how everything plays out.

After 24 hours of talks and getting adjusted, We feel that the team is headed in the right direction, still many names availible, But we wanted to put it out there that we are looking to try and squeak in to the playoffs, as well as become a force to be reckoned with next year. Any offers for players like Paciorretty, Bergeron, Nielsen etc, we expect fair value and or playoff players coming back.

Also, Asking price for Paciorretty is a good F and D, will add a pick if the pt value coming back is decent, Since I have gotten a few teams asking about him!

Ok. Last time, Baer on the market for picks/prospects. Ideally I'd move him to allow flexibility, but if not, so be it.

Looking for either a late or future 1st or 2nd and prospect, something like that. Have had several offers in the ball park but no one willing to pull the trigger.

Several offers have also been received on Parayko. I'm not saying he won't be moved, but the offers need to improve if he is to be moved.

My ongoing need for young F in exchange for some of my young D remains in place.

As for anyone else, hit me up!

To VAN: Jack Johnson

To NYR: Nate Schmidt, Logan Shaw, 2018 5th (Van)

Thanks to @Tylez for the smooth negotiations and to @somethingvery for processing.

It isn't easy to trade a quality player on a contender, but this made sense to do as it brings in a couple a quality depth players and adds to our abundance of draft picks.

Best of luck to Jack in Vancouver!

We will also be listening to offers on Ryan Ellis. Won't be cheap though.
