On behalf of General Manager @Beary Sweet, the Los Angeles Kings are pleased to announce the re-signing of:

Linus Ullmark - 3 years, $975k AAV

We are thankful to have Ullmark locked up for many more years as we believe he will be a full time starter in the near future or at the very least a full time backup for the Sabres. This also secures that we have a starter who is capable of stepping up in real life and in fantasy if an injury occurs. Thank you to @Captain Azzy for fair negotiations and hope that his Vegas team will have a great inaugural season next year.

I would like to thank @gmen81 for the great negotiations! We both took our time with this one and finally hammered out a deal this afternoon. We felt with Holtby as our main net minder that we could afford to sell Greiss as Holtby takes most the starts. It was a tough decision but we are confident that opening another reserve spot for a D of F will be more beneficial. We are extremely happy to bring in someone nice and young in Brandon Saad! He will be huge in our quest for a playoff spot. Also playing on one of the most surprisingly good teams on the nhl we are super.stoked on that. We also welcome super pest Ryan White, depth player Michael Chaput and Marek Mazanec! Good luck to Thomas and Frans with there future in Minny!

Thanks @Master Mind for processing!

With the realistic view that MM may have too good of a team to beat. The Flyers are open to moving some playoff assets for picks & young players.

Hornqvist

Connolly

Gaborik

Jokinen

Weber

Hickey

Gryba

All are available for the right value for each. Teams looking to stock up for playoffs should be looking to Philly.

Blake Price: Welcome back to TSN 1040, home of your Vancouver Canucks lunch talk. We have Elliot Friedman, Sportsnet hockey insider with us to talk about the Canucks and what could possibly still happen leading up to the trade deadline!

Matt Sekeras: Should be great. Acquiring Saad yesterday, Ritchie, Gostisbehere,  Steen, really excited to see them make a push.

BP: Hello Elliot!

EF: Hey guys, how's it going

BP: Great! What can you tell us?!

EF: Well I can tell you this, if you think the Canucks are done, you may be wrong. I am hearing things out of Vancouver that they are still looking to acquire depth pices as they make there run, but nothing major.

MS: Have you heard anything about Bergeron, Kopitar, guys like that?

EF: What I am being told is they will hang on to them for now and approach a move like that in the offseason as there contracts are bigger and a bit tougher to move. But I have been told they will move them before trade deadline if they are able to get really good playoff pieces in return.

BP: Does it sound like they are going for a goalie?

EF: I've hearD that they may be, but are happy with their situation there at this time

MS: Do you think playoffs is in reach!?

EF: I think so, they have made some noise. Definitely been active and continue to be active. If they really are looking at depth, and some of the names are defiantly one you wouldn't think of, watch out!

BP: Thanks Elliot!

EF: My pleasure guys!

BP: So there you have it. Canucks possibly going after a goalie, going after some marquee depth players, and by the sounds of it Bergeron a D Kopitar will stay Canucks! We will be back after these messages

What a great GM... Wish the real Canucks GM made bold moves like this!

I'm a fan of this team in real life and now in CDCP... Need you to steal that final playoff spot from Arizona... I have their #1 pick and would love it to be a better one. Ffs I lost Keller over that deal and mccann is in the minors!

Go canucks go!

For real though, I wasn't expecting Keller to fall that far in the draft or for McCann to bomb that hard this year.

Yea no kidding... McCann should still turn out to be a great player. I assumed he'd have major immediate impact though...
