The Washington Capitals are very pleased to bring in two solid players in Jeff Carter and Elias Lindholm. We'd like to thank both @gmen81 and @LilBurrows for the easy negotiations.

We are very happy with where we sit at the moment, but having received a couple offers for Jeff Carter already we would like it to be known that are are very happy to keep him, but if he were to be traded we would be requiring a fantastic prospect/young player and a 1st back. Take into consideration that he is 26th in league scoring and likely will be on a playoff team now that Jonathan Quick is soon to be back!

I might throw an offer just to complete my LA Kings trifecta set :P ;)also Quick can't come back any sooner to man the cage as they lost yet again tonight vs Boston. He's my saviour for this season. Cup or bust

This thread makes me lose all the rep points I can give...

I spend 24 rep points so quickly in this thread, then feel bad for all the guys I miss out on. @apollo's post with Bonino's wife is the most-liked comment in the history of CDCP

You guys might think it's great to be the Vegas GM, but the creme-de-la-creme of the NCAA is now all signed up, and I've had to act as agent for all these guys as they sign...IN MY DIVISION.

Meanwhile, MM and SV just sit back and laugh.

Cap'n, in lieu of an unavailable '+' I'll confirm that MM and I routinely meet up for tea and scrumpets to laugh at allllll the potential players you're missing out on that you get to be the agent passing them out like candy :P....these ill-advise laughing fits will soon turn to tears when I see who you steal from me come expansion day <_<

small.png  To CBJ: Artemi Panarin

Thanks to @LilBurrows for the incredibly quick negotiations.

We targeted Panarin and thought this deal would be a good fit for both clubs, and STL agreed. The Blues have amassed some fantastic prospects at every position - but had a severe lack at RW. This move gives them a top-line RW (who produces more than Panarin), who is locked up for 2 more years at under $4 mil (whereas Artemi's extension will be considerably more). In addition, a top-6 RW prospect and another 1st sealed the deal for him.

For us, adding another key playoff player on contender who is younger and expansion-ineligible was worth the slight drop in production, increase in dollars, and futures.

That Met Division...wow.

Great deal for both teams, good job @D-Money and @LilBurrows! I'd throw in @Monty too but he clearly doesn't bring much to the BJs team.

IR UPDATES

@Phil The Thrill has 24 hours to activate F Jakub Voracek from IR. If he is not activated, the league will do so on the team's behalf, which may require another player being waived to accommodate.

And that's the only one. You guys are doing a great job at keeping your returning injured players happy. And yes, that is something that's noticed by the Commish team. We don't just sit around and work out ways of selling CDCP merchandise to you guys. Although if we did, I'd blatantly buy a t-shirt, pen, notepad and mousemat.

"You are only allowed to give reputation 24 times per day. You cannot give any more reputation today."

Gotta thank all the commissioners for all the hard time and work put into this. I'm sure some of us can't make it a light workload :P
