The Washington Capitals would like to thank Jeff and Anthony for their time with the team. We would also like to welcome David, Calle, and Kale to our squad.

We were hoping to trade Carter for a pick/prospect, but the opportunity to finally unite cousins Calle Jarnkrok and Elias Lindholm in at least one of the FH leagues I'm in was just too good to pass up. You can consider Jarnkrok and Lindholm our only two untouchables for that reason. David will be a fine addition to our forward group, and we feel Kale could have a decent shot at making the NHL roster some time in the next year or two. We'd like to thank @Mr.Miyagi for the epic negotiations.

AFTER THE EXPANSION DRAFT WE WILL BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Washington will be looking to acquire late 1sts, 2nds, and 3rd round picks. After the expansion draft the Capital management team will publish a list of which players/prospects can be had for picks. We likely will be able to take on some cap dumps as well.

Undecided as of now. There's been reports of it both staying flat and hitting up to $76m.

Ditto that. I'd budget on it staying flat just in case.

Yeah. it basically is dependent on whether the PA decides to use the escalator or not. Using the Escalator will increase escrow. Full escalator (5%) puts the cap at 77.

By most accounts, some escalator will be used, but not all. 2.5% puts the cap at 75ish I think.

They're trying to get it all figured out for Friday, so Vegas knows what kind of position it is dealing from.

Ryan Callahan and Marian Gaborik are both on the table, and I'm willing to package a prospect or two depending on the deal.

We're looking for unsigned picks, prospects, or just generally deals where we're giving more contracts than we're taking. Cap's not a terribly huge deal, and we're also willing to take on an expansion-eligible defenseman if the deal's right.

Im sure its posted somewhere, but I did not see it on the front page.  And seems by memory, the draft itself (not expansion draft) is next tuesday / wednesday.

Can anyone confirm please?

When can we start making draft pick trades? Or draft floor trades?
