We are sad to see Calle and David go, but this move frees up cap space and with Carter at 50% this season helps us obtain more with the cap space. Carter is a top fantasy player, so how could we say no. Very happy with how this and the last deal turned out

gmen81
I just got this email. Your roster for period 21 (Jun 15, 2017) for your team Minnesota Wild (Gmen81) in the CDC Puck Playoffs 2016/2017 league is illegal. You can click on the link below to go to your team roster page to fix this. is that normal?

Fantrax is being weird and making changes like that for a number of teams. We'll try to fix as many as we can as soon as we can. Will traded players be added to the playoff fantrax spot? The picks help a depleted future. Wasn't going to sign Dzingel and never a huge fan of Vesey. Also clears up cap space for guys I really want to keep. This might burn me in short term, but long term and with flexibility it offers, I'm good with this.
Canuck Surfer
In Boston we looked at 8 or 10 trades. To save an asset we might lose to expansion? At the end of the day, we were going to have one guy taken off our roster. When we have 4 or 5 good guys, possibly none magnificent, who Cap'n could take? If we traded one? He was still going to take one. And then we would have two off our roster. And a less competitive team! So we did our work earlier. Picking up exempt players Troy Stecher, Brady Skjei & Noah Hanafin. Made harder decisions, incorporating Marian Hossa & Calvin De Haan to get more competitive, which pushed other guys onto our expansion list. Add rookies coming into our side, that we are cap compliant already for the new year; we think we are a better team after expansion than before. It will be fun to see how everyone else goes? Same plan, though I didn't acquire expansion exempt. Just kept acquiring great players. I'd rather lose 1 great player to Az, then trade 2 or 3 and lose a 4th. I feel ya! A great boost in futures. Greenway is gunna be killa! I have to admit, added to Tierney leaving a day or so ago? I also think its very nice to see the playoff roster of a division rival shrinking. We had to make this trade as we were one short of a player for the expansion. This trade helps make us a little bit more competitive and allows us to field a full team (finally) each night. Jimmy and Ryan are still young and have a lot to offer so we are excited to see what they bring to the team. It was hard to see Greenway go but we felt that we could not let go of an opportunity to acquire 2 200 ftp players. Goodluck to Jordan with his future endeavors!
