thejazz97
Just now, Monty said: Wait, you're expecting Las Vegas to knowingly take Sbisa as their player of choice from Vancouver? Honestly, if he improves like he did last season before his injury - and has somewhat sheltered minutes on the bottom pairing - I could totally see it happening. This all changes if we sign Hudler to a multi-year deal though.

I'll be curious to see if Apollo protects Sbisa in the expansion draft. I can't see him not unless Sbisa is no longer a RL Canuck by then.

Easy choices right now Sbisa Rielly and Slavin. If he isn't a Canuck then I may ponder protecting Miller instead but really hoping he stays. @thejazz97 Why you gonna say hurtful things like that about Luca But yea if the rule is van can protect 3, it'll be edler Tanev and guddy? I assume Hutton and the other prospects are expemt? Depending on how Vegas uses their cap, I doubt they would want to take on Luca's cap hit based on his current value, would they? There's lots of teams with quite a lot of top end dman that would be exposed. I guess we'll see come draft time in June. I think they'll be able to build a playoff contender right off the bat considering all the depth the league has these days and they're the only one drafting. No second team to take their players... Way better situation than what wild and jackets got imo.
apollo
Anyways who has Hudler? I'll trade for him. Crosby + 1st overall (from @oldnews ) I think having him and Luca on the same CDCP team will make his decision easier to sign here.

I'll throw in Daniel Sedin for Matt Bartkowski.

I don't think Nashville is ready for such talent. It wouldn't be fair to the rest of our players to have a MVP Swedish Phenom just step in and steal all their wives with his good looks and killer talent Jokes aside, if he does sign here, you'll be getting a phone call from Nashville. (and by phone call I mean, I'll send you a pm with a trade request hahah)

thejazz97
Okay, I'm looking for help this season. One of PHI/SJS 1st round picks is available, as is Florida's 3rd round pick. I'm looking for waiver-ineligible players, cheap players, or good players, and there's certain prospects that I'm willing to send back. HMU if you're interested. Seemed like the safer bet for me moving forward I think my best bet is to hope he averages around 3-4 fpts per game and then gets traded to a contender at the deadline. Will have to swallow this 4 mill cap hit for 2 more seasons... Guess I pulled a JB with that contract lol Based on what I've seen from him, my scouting report on vrby is that he's still a poor man's datsyuk. I reiterate... Poor man's datsyuk. Very similar skill set offensively and defensively but a downgrade in all aspects. His defensive game is extremely underrated, he's got a filthy release and can play make with the best of them. Last year was certainly an anomaly.
