orcasgonewild
Hello CDC, after seeing McCann go our defence looks pretty solid for next year. Funny what one guy can do. Right now however we have a problem as the only prospect in our system with top line potential is Brock boeser. Now assuming we take Dubois because apparently the oilers are gushing over tkachuk, we could potentially have our future top line centre. From what I've read, he might even be considered NHL ready, even though I'd rather keep him in the minors to develop still. One thing that excites me is that nikolaj ehlers had 104 PTS in 63 games in his draft year while Dubois has 99 pts in 62 games. Pretty cool especially since Dubois is a 200 foot player that is taller and heavier. So as u might see, we might have our future centre and RW but no LW. Here are some of the leagues most talented LW Prospects. Round taken. TEAM. Hockey's future rating. Name. League Height. Weight.GP. G. A. PTS 1. Anaheim 8. Nick Ritchie. NHL. 6.02. 232. 33. 2. 2. 4 2. L.A. 7.5. Adrien Kempe. AHL. 6.01. 187. 55. 11. 17. 28 6. S.J. 7.5. Kevin Labanc. OHL. 5.11. 179. 65. 39. 88. 127 1. S.J. . 8. Timo Mier. QMJHL. 6.01. 209. 52. 34. 53. 87 2. Car. 8. Sebastian Aho. SM-Liiga. 6.00. 172. 45. 20. 25. 45 1. NYI. 8. Michael dal colle. OHL. 6.02. 198. 60. 35. 45. 80 1. NYI. 7.5. Anthony Beauillier QMJHL 5.11. 173. 47. 40. 39. 79 1. Det. 8. Evgeny Svechnikov. Qmjhl. 6.02. 199. 50. 32. 47. 79 1. Flo. 8. Lawson Crowse. OHL. 6.04. 212. 49. 23. 39. 62 5. Mon. 7.5. Charles Hudon. NHL. 5.10. 195. 3. 0. 2. 2 My chart shows some of the better LW prospects in the league just so you didn't have to search them. Some of the players bring size and skill. For those who don't know hockey futures rating is a 10 point scale. Players with a 7.5 rating have second line and first line potential and 8 has first line potential. A players potential can change however as he gets older. Btw svechnikov plays with Dubois in the qmjhl, and would be nice to add chemistry. so my question for you CDC is who do we have that can be traded for one of these guys. I'm thinking something that includes sbisa as he is on the chopping block since gud moved in. Another question is, do u think drouin would also be a good option for us? I think so, but his price would probably be higher than the players listed above. Also some of the teams listed above have noticeably weak prospect centres and goalies. I think a package deal of... Sbisa Miller/garteig Hansen/gaunce 5th for either one of Sebastian aho, timo mier, Michael dal colle, evgeny svechnikov, Lawson crowse and a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th Then we have our future Canucks top line LW-DUBOIS-BOESER BAE-HOR-VIRT SEDINS Sutter GAUNCE Granlund DORSETT Tell me if u guys liked this thread and what you guys would think to be a good trade. Have a fantastic day!!

Blue Jay 22
No team is going to trade their top prospect for some spare parts. I would say 9 out of those 10 guys are untouchable anyway.

Tkachuck Horvat Boeser would be deadly, but I have a feeling we are taking Dubois and then going hard for Drouin. Have a fantastic day!! I love stats. The work put into this I love it. I agree we need a top prospect winger. I dont think Michael Dal Colle is the answer. For everything I have read on him he is not a strong Team Player and there is a reason why he never made the World Juniors. Sebastian Aho still has a lot to prove never playing the north american game before. Svgeny Svechnikov would be great Lawson Crowse Would love that but dont see them moving him.
