kloubek Posted May 27, 2016 Share Posted May 27, 2016 As much as we're all keen on getting rid of Edler, don't forget that next to Hutton he's the only other Dman in the lineup who might actually get us some points back there. I'd say Sbisa for sure is on the block. The question is whether anyone would actually want him - let alone as to whether we'd get a return or not. But if he's utilized in the right way (not babysitting AHL'ers), then he still holds considerable value to any team including the Canucks. I believe he could easily get a 4mil + 4 year deal from some club. Let's hope he takes yet another discount to stay here. He stated on the call that he thinks Gudbranson is perfect to play with Hutton, so its more like: Edler - Tanev Hutton - Gudbranson Hamhuis - Tryamkin + Spare part / bench warmer to be determined. If we have learned anything over the last few years (some on here probably haven't), you can't ever have too many defense. What I listed on here is projected placements that are probably on JB's office wall. Pick who will be injured during training will get injured and not be ready when the season starts.
