Top_Shelf
I would love to see Ohlund inducted in the Ring of Honor. He was our best defenceman in terms of most goals and worked hard on a consistent basis. http://www.theprovince.com/touch/sports/hockey/jeff+paterson+column+matthias+ohlund+ring+honour+would+well/11947879/story.html?rel=894638
HC20.0
I think he deserves it. He was a great defenseman for us.
MeanSeanBean
Totally 100% behind the idea of him making the rafters. In my opinion he was the most loyal and highest preforming defensemen we have ever had.

Shift-4
I really miss him. Gets my vote as our best D-man ever.
Jägermeister
As sad as it is, he is arguably the best defenceman the Canucks have ever had. I don't think it should even be a question whether he gets on the ROH. He deserves it 100%.
BCNeil
Never super flashy, but certainly one of the best Canuck Dman. Sure give it to him. We won't have anyone else till the Sedins and Luongo are retired. Then who knows after that....even if one of young players or prospects eventually does it will be 20 years from now when then go up on the ROH

When Ohlund is your best Dman in 45 years that's an issue.

SedinMadness
i dunno, oulund was solid. but look what jeff brown did in such a short time with the canucks. a true offensive talent made a beautiful pass to the russian rocket and scored the winning goal that eventually sent the canucks on a journey to the stanley cup final. I would argue jeff brown is the most talented d man we ever had. should jeff brown be put in the rafters?

Another name is Salo....had he not had those injuries, I think he goes into top spot. The guy made our PP lethal and was so smart in his own zone, probably the most cerebral defender we have ever had. It just sucks that he had all those injuries, curse of the franchise i guess
-AJ-
He makes the most sense. Ohlund is largely considered the greatest d-man in Canucks history (not the best though, mind you). If it's him, it'll be a great day. Actually, it'll be a great day regardless, but I'm excited for it.

It's subjective, but to me, greatness is a combination between longevity and ability. The "best" player would be solely based on ability. In my opinion, Ohlund's combo of talent and longevity with the team make him the greatest Canuck defenseman of all-time.
shazzam
His contact is finally over lol. He has collected quite a bit of money without playing a game.

Jeff Brown was good at sleeping with his teammates wives, not near the all around defenseman Ohlund was.

There are far better D-Men that we've had that would go up there before Brown's name ever will. A healthy Ohlund in his prime during the 2011 run would have made a huge difference. Jack Fig
Absolutely should be in ROH; best defenceman in team history.
linden17
ohlund and salo deserve it imo. ohlund is easily one of the top three d-men weve ever had and just look at the stats for the team when salo was healthy and in the line-up.....one of the most underated defencemen of our time.
