Popular Post UFCanuck
@NEWS1130Sports Utica gm Pat Conacher tells me that player that impressed him the most was Brendan Gaunce. #Canucks @NEWS1130Sports Conacher on Gaunce : "He's got NHL power forward written all over him. He brought it every single day, he found his identity." #Canucks Solid pick.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
I think setting your sights higher than Dwight King is advisable. Gaunce will contribute far more on the offensive side I believe. In his prime he will likely be top 6. I see a bit of Greg Adams style in his game. I think tapering your expectations sensible and best to avoid being disappointed. If he shoots any higher than King than great, but if he ends up anywhere near the player Dwight King is...i'd be happy with that.

Not a chance he just becomes a Dwight King. Gaunce has the maturity, intelligence and drive few have. He's limited by his tools and isn't going to be a guy with unrealized potential who struggles with consistency. He will definitely be worth more than King's 25 points per season. elvis15
NEWS 1130 Sports @NEWS1130Sports 2h Just spoke with @UticaComets Coach Travis Green about filling in for the injured Willie Desjardins at training camp. #Canucks Green says Shinkaruk, Gaunce, Jensen, Grenier, Corrado and Pedan all have legitimate shot to make the jump to the NHL this season. #Canucks Green is confident Brendan Gaunce can play either wing or center. Heard he put in a lot of work this summer and hopes to see results

250Integra
Seems like a player that shows up in big games. Hope to see him challenge Vey for that 4th line center role.

250Integra
Um but um left wing uhhg never mind. There is currently a log jam of forwards vying for a LW position. Honestly, the only position he can challenge for at this moment is for the 4th line center role. Otherwise, it's back to the AHL he goes.
