Popular Post -AJ-
Horvat has a real chance to finish as high as 10th all-time in points among Canucks as of the end of next year, as he would only need 44 more points to pass a slew of guys like Morrison, Burrows, Kesler, and Edler. He needs 84 more points to catch 9th place, which is Bertuzzi. 2 2 1

Gurn
I find it a bit surprising that while Bo and J.T. are in the exact same spot, contract wise, that there is complete silence; regarding the potential re-signing or possible trade of Bo.

I've read (a couple of times) that the management is working on a new contract for Bo. https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/bo-horvat-canucks-talking-contract-extension

Patrik Allvin did an interview a day ago saying they have been working on an extension for Horvat for awhile and hopefully it will be done soon. Gurn
Yet the team is also trying to sign JT, and that topic is discussed by most people here. Just saying the players seem to be in the exact same spot- neither is signed beyond next year.

CRAZY_4_NAZZY
If Bo helped this team win a cup, would his legacy be cemented as the best Canucks captain, or would he need more individual accomplishments to get there?

Interesting hypothetical. If we somehow won a Cup in 2023, and then he left the team, where would he rank? I think a fair bit would go into his play during the run. If he scored 15 goals or something in a run, then he would be legend status. I personally lean towards needing a bit more in the sense of longevity as captain. As far as best captains, I tend to put less emphasis on individual leadership and more on how they inspired the team to perform while there. For instance, I'd rank Linden as a better captain than Markus Naslund, but Naslund was a better player. Luongo was better than both, but the worst captain out of the three. He was also only captain for three years, if I recall.
