Alflives
Tomlinson (just now on 1040) discussing Sutter’s groin injury, and making connection to Sutter’s surgery from a couple years ago. Hearing Sutter is not trying to even skate until after the Christmas break has him concerned it could be a recurrence of the original troubles. That would be worrying, I think Sutter provides that veteran leadership that most poo-poo on given his salary, yet it's so vital for a team hoping to have its young guys learn the way of the nhl.

With Sutter and Bo out, we aren’t doing very good at all. Like you say, we need Sutter to play the hard minutes. I’m hoping he’s going to be okay, and back out there soon.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Its bizarre how they constantly are saying "one more week away", its been that for almost 3 weeks now...hopefully he gets back in soon, we need him so badly

Would actually prefer a broken bone, because then at least you have a fairly reliable time frame for healing.

YummyCakeFace
Get him healthy and get him the hell out of town asap before he gets hurt again. Foundational player my ass.

Foundational player my ass. Totally, completely disagree. In the SN post article comments sections, there is an angry, anti Canuck poster named 'Yummy'. Can I assume the two of you are related ?
-AJ-
Sutter is being very heavily used for defense this year, so it's expected that his offensive numbers will drop. He'll help the defense a load when he returns.
Wilbur
You know you're bored when....you notice Brandon Sutter's number in the title should be changed to 20.

Wilbur
With his goal tonight, Sutter is the foundational meat in an odd duck sandwich. 141. David Booth LW 134 26 25 51 141. Wilbur
Sutter jumped into 138th with his assist on Gaunce's nice insurance goal. 137. Jeff Brown D 72 10 44 54 138. Wilbur
Sutter jumps again and joins a very odd block of 26 goal 28 assist players. 133. Dave Scatchard C 179 26 28 54 133. -AJ-
Sutter continues to improve on his slow start, now with 4 assists and +3 in his last four games. He's only a bit behind his scoring rate of last year now. He had 0.420 points-per-game last year and 0.375 points-per-game this year now.
Wilbur
Apparently it's the week of Sutter as he still is the highest climber up the all-time Canuck scoring list. 130.
