Why is it that so many Canuck fans insist the most likely answer is some assanine conspiracy?

Gudbranson is injured.  Willie, when asked about "when" Gudbranson was first injured started the double speak spin.  If he just comes out and says what happened "honestly" then there won't be any room for conspiracy thinking.

Because evidently the entire Canucks organization from ownership to players operates based exclusively on ego, pride, greed, and neurotic paranoia.

And the current President openly lied to Steve Darling when starting his job.  And too many reports of our owner meddling.  And JBs changing message fro competing for playoff to competing in games.  And WD's comments about JV coming home to collect his "stuff".  I think we fans just want either honesty or no comment at all.  It's the continual "spin" of the truth or out right lies that are confusing.

Looks like the fans won't have ol' Eric to kick around for a while eh.

So who is the flavor next week? I wish management would simply be forthright and tell us who to dis next! I think it should be Hansen as he has had 2 games to get back up to speed and he hasn't even scored yet.

Damn that Hansen. I barely target him and he scores a goal. Now that he is on line to score 40 goals I have to find another fall guy. Hmm. How about Granlund?

Guy says injury could delay discussions but no rush. Gudbranson also has arb rights this summer. #Canucks

What we do know is the injury started bothering him pretty early in the season, likely near the end of October. By the first week in November, he had started seeing specialists, trying to figure out his options.

That went on for weeks.

“It was sore for the better part of the season,”Gudbranson revealed

By the end of the month, it was clear he was going to need a procedure, it was just a matter of when.

The injury was problematic. It was to the wrist on his dominant hand.

It is that right hand he has always counted on for leverage, using it often, just about exclusively, when pushing players in front of the crease and along the boards in attempts to win battles.

“I had some ligaments re-attached and some bone chips removed,” Guddy said. “There were some pins in there.

“I tore ligaments and bones that shifted because of the instability. It got really tough to do my job.

“Holding a stick was difficult. The biggest thing with me was my inflection backwards and pushing guys.

“This is the hand I use to guide guys, so it was really tough. If I’m in a board battle or in front of the net, this is the hand I’d be pushing with.”

Is that enough to reconsider your position on Guddy’s season?

Or are you ready to trade him?

Among are big D's Trym, Sib, Edler, Gud is the no 4 guy.

Tryamkin has played bottom pairing all season, Gudbranson 2nd pairing which are harder minutes. I won't argue that Tryamkin is showing that he might be a top 4 d-man in the future. IMHO all 4 you mentioned are needed for a serious CUP contender. Last night I was very surprised that Calgary did not play a more physical game, I fully expect that type of play in Calgary tonight. It is games like that where Gudbranson would have to shine if he were to stay in the long term plans. I feel he would. Certainly willing to wait.

So that is why his skating is slow.
