avelanch
Anyone know his average time on ice? ncaa doesn't track that, but from the games i've watched, it's got to be somewere in the 20+ min. it seems like he's out nearly every other shift. Henrik Kesler
hutton had an assist, 3 shots, and was even tonight in a 4-4 tie with northeastern. statline for the season: Games 28 Points 23 Goals 11 Assists 12 PIM 4 +/- +9 These are top notch numbers from a forward in the NCAA, let alone a defensemen. I think the Canucks have a really good one in Hutton.
elvis15
Almost seems like deja vu: Tyson Giuriato @TysonGiuriato From last night: #Canucks prospect @bhutt10 had one assist for @MaineIceHockey. Now has 24 points (11-13-24) in 29 games.
-Vintage Canuck-
@MaineIceHockey WIth his first period goal, Ben Hutton is just one goal away from tying the school record for goals in a season by a defenseman.
Nas19
2 goals tonight. Tied the record for the school. Edited February 23, 2014 by Nas19
RunningWild
^^ To elaborate Tyson Giuriato @TysonGiuriato 3h #Canucks prospect Ben Hutton scored twice tonight and had eight shots on goal for @MaineIceHockey. Now has 26 points (13-13-26) in 30 games. Hutton has tied the @MaineIceHockey school record for most goals in a season by a defenseman and did it as a sophmore. #Canucks I originally thought he has the most goals on his team, but Devin Shore has 1 more. So, he has the 2nd most goals of any player on his team - and he's a d-man. Has 2nd most points of any player on his team (behind Shore as well). Pretty crazy for a young dude.

tas
he should just start trading picks 1-4, 6 and 7 every year.
Rollieo Del Fuego
You could see he had something special, besides speed and size, at the prospects camp last summer. He had a few great looking rushes up the ice and no one was taking the puck away from him, slick and sure hands. Here's hoping they can talk him into turning pro next year! He could be the offense defenceman find of the year just like Tanev was for the defensive defenceman find.
avelanch
man, Hutton IS maine's offense... if he were to leave, i don't know what would happen to them...
wshdrvvn
•As pointed out by Tyson Giuriato): Hutton is 6' 3" and weighs 200 lbs. People forget this. •Hutton has now tied his school's record for goals in a season by a defensemen. This was also done by ex-Canuck defencemen Eric Weinrich who played at Maine and scored 12 goals in his Sophmore season. couple of snippets pulled from canucksarmy.com's weekly prospect report. TheOgRook
he should just start trading picks 1-4, 6 and 7 every year. Seems like the only reason you are on this board is to be a negative Nancy. I've even seen you recently take personal shots at people. You need to give your head shake. Makes you sound like the whiney teenager you always accuse others of being. Grow up, stop wenging all the time. avelanch
but the post you quoted wasn't even a negative post... it was a joke about how well the canucks have done with their 5th round picks....
TheOgRook
No it was a continuation of 1000 posts filled with snide remarks Did you really want me to quote them all ?? He was clearly insinuating that GMMG sucks at drafting.
