Chances of Puljujarvi dropping down?

The CBJ GM is a Fin, so less than zero unfortunately. The fan base is already calling him the next Nash as well. It might happen with another GM, but not this one, even if it is the right call.

We have a better chance of trying to steal Seth Jones from them via an offer sheet, since it sounds like the cap won't go up and CBJ only has <3 mil in cap space if that happens.

He seems to be the quiet man in the mix, though I highly doubt he gets overlooked twice to be available at #5.

CB would have to fire their current GM, the next one needs to be related to Keith Tkachucks wife, and Edmonton picks Juolevi.

If he slides to 4 at the draft anyone trading with the Oilers is going to be trading up to pick him, giving the Oil lots of leverage.

If he did slide to # 4 I'm sure Benning will try and trade for that pick but like you said it would put the Oil in a great situation. I think this years draft will be more fun than free agent day :)

I wonder what that would cost.....

What are the chances of CBJ taking Tkachuk and Edmonton trading the pick for a d/selecting a d and then us getting the chance of selecting Puljujarvi. Or are our chances higher by trading with CBJ

What are the chances of you adding some analysis in a post. Or are your chances higher of using fragmented sentences.

Probably more than we have. There was that link saying Edmonton wants Nylander because he is a right handed right winger so in a trade down scenario Ari or Montreal might be in a better spot than us. I'm going to guess an NHL ready D-man and a lower pick.

If that's the case I think I'd pass anyways.
