Looking for the Sunday Power Rankings? You found em..Not for the faint of heart...

no one aims for last, but someone will be there, no offense intended, its just math that decides the order...but it is my own analysis in the write ups.

1. Panthers(2) One and Two are so close that the difference here is literally Lucas Sedlak and Andy ANdreoff got a couple points each this week

2. Islanders(1) Meanwhile Smith-Pelly and Kyle CLifford did not. These two teams will likely duke it out weekly in the top spots for some time.

3. Capitals(4) A pure team effort got the Caps the most points this week, pushing them up one rank in the Power list. Only Andreas Englund failed to tally out of their whole lineup.

4. Wild(3) When everyone around you is moving up, simply putting in the same awesome effort as last week is not enough. Dropping one place to 4th is a fantastic Wild bunch.

5. Leafs(6)  Only one player didn't put up points but Artemi Panarin is the main reason the Leafs move up one place. Great team effort, great leadership from Artemi.

6. Blue Jackets(5) Just a slight loss of production on the bottom six means slipping a spot in this ultra competitive end of the GML pool.

7. Kings(8) 6 players getting 15pts or more and led by a Sutter, the kings improve 1 place to 7th in league Power. Wonder where they would be with more than 19 players on roster?

8. Sens(13) Everyone chips in, almost, but Niskanen's 40 points and Martin Jones 30 points pushed Ottawa up a smidge this week, and rightly so. THat is Power.

9. Lightning(7) From the Blueline Victor Hedman (39 pts) ensures the Lightning don't fall out of the top ten Power Teams even though production slimmed to just 13 important players.

10. Devils(18) Moving in the right direction with a 5th place finish for points this week comes a move up 8 spots for the Power Rankings. 21 players made the score sheet.

11. Stars(15) 16 jerseys contributing and the one with Darling written on the back leads the pack with 40 points from inside the paint. 4 wins in a week might be a career highlight.

12. Canadiens(9) Habs are slipping well below their league placing here in the Power Rankings on back to back lower performance weeks, good news is that is relative to the top 5.

13. Sabres(11) When one guy, like Brodin here, leads 16 mates in scoring with just 23 pts this week, its a wonder Buffalo are still courting a top 12 power spot, yet secured 13th.

14. Oilers(19) Edmonton moves up mostly thanks to 30 points from Justin Faulk. Many supporting cast members.

15. Red Wings(17) Another decent team where 19 players racked up points to in the end move Detroit to 15th in power and 20th overall in the league ranks. #gameofinches

16. Penguins(16) No change in their power despite slipping to 18th in weekly points. That result is bouyed by still sitting 11th overall. Xavier Ouellet is first 2nd and turd star however.

17. Flames(10) A loss of all around production but no players even cracked out of the 20 point zone to lead the team means calgary falls out of top ten and settles at 17th this week.

18. Canucks(24) Vancouver really fought its way up 6 spots on spreading the work around. 18 guys working for them and a solid four or five of them nearing 20 points each.

19. Bruins(22)  8 men had double digit points this week, pushing Boston up three ticks in the Power Rankings, the hard way. This team is on the right trajectory for longer term growth.

20. Sharks(30) Massive production this week from half the Sharks squad (7th overall in points this week, from dead last the week earlier) puts the team up 10 places, but will it last? Depth is key.

21. Jets(12) A big drop for C2X's Jets are tied for 5th worst performance of the week, and that cost them in the rankings. only 7 players contributing in any significant way won't get you to the playoffs.

22. Preds(20) 18 players with some tally points have kept things calm in Nashville, however not a one of em took main stage at the opry. Only two guys north of 17 points won't project power.

23. Ducks(23) With little else to call inspiring the ducks mail one in but neither rise nor fall due to great goaltending but, imagine if Dubnyk didn't win three games in net this week?

24. Coyotes(14) Arizona clocked the lowest points this week, helping them down the rankings substantially. Flat effort by all but three players, however the story here is INJURED RESERVE.

25. Rangers(25) Nineteen guys with points this week, means even a team with out a defined 'Critical Player' besides Goaltender Smith, when he is healthy can tread water, but up?

26. Blues(21) to quote football legend John Madden, "Your best players have to be your best players". The Blues had 11 guys with zeroes on Saturday's scoresheet.

27. Blackhawks(29) Relative to their end of the pool, Chicago punched well above their weight and it earned them two hard fought spots, a good trend.

28. Avelanche(26) see Canes below: These two teams have shared similar sputters two weeks in a row, pushing them down the Power Chart in back to back weeks.

29. Hurricanes(27) see Aves above; Primarily slipped due to few contributors and fewer leaders. Colorado has tried the trade route, Carolina is standing pat on his opening hand.

30. Flyers(28) Eleven guys chipped in for the worst points of the week, driving Philly from 28th to rock bottom of the power charts. Good news is there is only up next week.

We have suggested it before, but with Rodin and Huberdeau close to returning - it's time that we explore the market on the following players:

Scott Hartnell

Brandon Dubinsky

Karl Alzner

Valteri Filppula

Derek Engelland

Looking for picks and defence prospects - but willing to consider others. We have a plethora of forward prospects as well, that could be combined with said players to meet our needs.

If you are interested in ANYONE from our youth core - we will discuss them, but it has to make sense.

Davidson with his 1st Scorerpoint of the Season

Gryba also played +16 Minutes and earned a +1

He is still OTB for a 4th Round Pick and we´ll retain 50% of his Salary. We just want to give him a chance to Play .

Matt Geene would be also available, but for a 3rd .

Our Goal is that we have to move 1 Defender , because we have 9 Active NHL Defenders in our Organisation.
