Bombastik der Teutone
after the x-mas break and roster freeze the blues would like to kickin tires for movng matt greene or eric gryba. eric has collected over 30 FTP´s this week and is still sitting in our minors. we had only one interested team for eric so far but this offer was not what we are looking for. we are looking for draftpick or a bottom 6 player in return. Primal Optimist
Happy Holidays to each and every one of you! Catch you in the new year, or during the WJC's.... the Power Trends are a day early, on account of no hockey tonight (bad PR decision by the NHL, IMO). We have 13 teams dropping over last weeks rating and 13 rising over their last rating...leaving four teams holding steady week over week. Here are the.... 1.Capitals(3) Zack Kassian along with 19 other players combined to put the Caps in the top power slot this week, up two spots over last week and deservingly so. 2.Panthers(1) No fault here at all, but when your number one and you get 4th in weekly points, someone will probably pass you. blame the walking wounded and move on. 3.Kings(7) Top of the points chart for the week, G's Bobrovsky and Condon, along with D Zaitsev, and a huge cast of 11 players earning double digits this week move the kings up inside the top five. 4.Blue Jackets(6) Team depth is not just a catch phrase, here Columbus wields great power, 19 guys chipping in and half with significant contributions..last years champs don't appear to have a fault unless you are looking for a clear leader on the ice. Is it going to be Justin Schultz? 5.Maple Leafs(5) If you are top five and steady you don't have to worry. Solid depth and Peter Budaj pushing 25 points out of the paint. 6.Islanders(2) If your top ten and dropping it isn't the end of the world, it just means your human, and these humans are amazing. G Rask leads 18 contributors in keepiing the Isles among the best. 7.Senators(8) Ten guys with ten or more points and decent support moves the Sens up one spot to 7th, truely a team effort. 8.Wild(4) Mikael Granlund stands out even as the wild drop down, with 29 points he is head and shoulders above his team mates in production this week, carrying them on his back. 9.Devils(10) 16 point earners led by G Holtby and D Krug move the Devils past the Bolts who lost a step on depth relative to new Jersey 10.Lightning(9) just 15 point getters but one heck of a 32 point performance by D Hedman mean the Lightning only drop one spot 11.Red Wings(15) Rock Em Sock Em Hockey in Detroit! moving up 4 spots by pure brute force. 1/4 of their points this week on the penalty calls and scraps. 12.Bruins(19) almost a full roster contributing is the reason these guys are rising up in the ranks. team management take a bow. 13.Canadiens(12) Good guys finish 13th? The only thing different about the Habs this week is the Wings out villained them. Maybe more sin bin time could be good for this great team? 14.Jets(21) A big jump up is no easy feat as G Schneider leads 8 players with double digit performances this week. Although depth is alarming, can they stay in the top half next week? 15.Penguins(16) Pittsburgh puts a point on average. Nothing wrong, but just a few things perfect. Moving from one side of the middle to the better side of the middle mostly on Goalie points. 16.Sabers(13) Buffalo slides mostly due to a lack of those goalie points, fair to middlin but underlying numbers show trouble might be brewing. 17.Flames(17) Its a turbulent ride..if you can hold onto 17th place week to week it must be due to 17 players chipping in with points because it isn't Letestu's team leading 21 point effort. 18.Coyotes(24) Dubinsky, Hartnell are just two of nine guys putting in 10 points or more on a team with great supporting players. Moves up the Yotes by six. 19.Predators(22) Rising on a stronger depth performance but led by Phaneuf, Barkov and Jagr. 20.Stars(11) Four players scored more than 10 points this week, Eric Staal even seems tired. No direction in the paint led to zero points this whole month from a 5m dollar goalie. 21.Blues(21) Ehlers and Atkinson leading 17 key scorers keeps the blues up and vibrant, at 21st in the power charts, this might be the most accurate placing of the rankings. 22.Oilers(14) Not an unexpected drop considering this squad's injury issues. Ten players have less than ten points each while just 4 have more. 3rd worst of the week. 23.Hurricanes(29) Up six spots thanks to Brandon Saad and 15 other contributors, the canes got some production from the bottom line and third pairing this week. 24.Canucks(18) Down six spots, and that is after G Andersen's team best 30 points are included, means 22 other players only managed 100 points between them all. 25.Rangers(25) 17 players puttin up points but Zach Smith and newcomer Bobby Ryan can't be the leading edge or this team is going nowhere, fast. 26.Ducks(23) G Dubnyk's 30 points halted the skid for Anaheim, only 14 other guys chipped in, moving them to the bottom quarter of the Power Chart. 27.Sharks(20) A bit of a set back as only 12 players tally this week, and just five of them with double digits, last in points this week is why the sharks dove 7 spots. 28.Flyers(30) Mikko Koivu, Jason Zucker and Matt Tkachuk somehow managed to rock the flyers out of the snowbank and up a bit out of the basement this week. 29.Hawks(27) In this case you can argue they were passed by other teams, not necessarily dropped down on their own, potato/potahtoh. 30.Aves(28) Schenn, Petry and Malkin would do well in overtime together, but they can't skate the first 60 minutes all by themselves and hope to go anywhere but down in the power rankings. Next week, no where to go but up. A well rested team, having apparently taken this week off, should help Colorado do just that, go up!

Brunners
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you're all having an excellent day. It's nearly 2 am here so it's boxing day for me now This is going to be my routine for the forseeable future, while I will try and check up on messages during the day, I will always answer my messages before bed every evening. Things are still in the works behind the scenes but LA management is very happy with how things are going currently, riding on the 170 combined points of our goaltenders. Love you all xx
