TRADE: There has been a trade between the Las Vegas Golden Knights and the Vancouver Canucks.

 

To Vegas: TOR 2017 2nd Round Pick (56th OA), 2017 NAS 3rd Round Pick (74th OA),  2017 OTT 3rd Round Pick (86th OA), 

 

To Vancouver: LSV will select a player a player of Vancouver's choosing.

Stage two is deals. Aside from Mattias Ekholm, who signed a 7 year contract to sign with me ( @greensman to post), all the above are open for discussion. You need a forward, defenseman, goalie, I've got 'em.

They learned from the mistakes they made with past expansion teams. They didn't want the first pro team in Vegas to fail.

Signing: The Las Vegas Golden Knights have signed defensemen Mattias Ekholm to a seven year deal.
