Well he must be getting really scary, because he's losing 0-2!

-1 so far.

What is wrong with Finland? So dysfunctional

Juolevi has looked like the best finish so far imo.  This Vesalainen kid looks terrible (getting moved from the net, missed a prime opportunity in the slot, neutral zone turnover that led to the last goal). The goalie doesn't look much better.

Here is something to ponder....

Columbus is doing so well...

Who is their top Center and has he lit up the scoreboards?

Minnesota.....

Philly...besides Giroux....

Washington....besides BackStrom

These teams are so he'll bent on having the "franchise center".

What they do have are awesome Defense cores that are generally young and going to be together for a long time.

Back when Chicago was suckin, they had Seabrook, Keith, Hjalmarsson as rookies and they played the heck out of them. Get scored on? Back out they go. Make a mistake? Back out you go.

Columbus is freakin awesome and I'm so in awe of what they have done.

Minnesota has an awesome young D with Suter as the mentor

Nashville was like that too until they lost a few pieces.

IM on the fence about losing Tanev and rather get rid of Elder. But a young core we could end up with around Tanev, Stecher, Hutton

Juolevi

Liljegren, Foote, or Hague

Dahlin

Gives us an amazing D for years and years to come. All have size, skating, puck moving ability.

I'd be perfectly fine with us doing this over the next 2 drafts.  Drafting the BPA D in the top 10 of the next 2 drafts allows us to do nothing but draft high risk high reward offense for the next 2 to 4 years.  Guys that either flame out or end up as superstars.

From the net.  Out

Juolevi 2016

Liljegren/Hague/Foote 2017

Dahlin/Addison/Bokvist 2018

Finns are stinking it up today wow they are a horrible team.

OJ wasted his time joining a horrible team , boo humbug

.

next few drafts we need to go after high end forward prospects none of this off the board BS.

We should have taken a forward with our first pick this past draft.

I hope Oli proves me wrong too.

Juolevi was not 'off the board' they were pretty much ranked 5/6 with a few scouts (rightly IMO) having Juolevi at 5.

Picking say Bean would have been 'off the board'.

They just dominated this entire period. For a solid 7 mins all Denmark could do was clear the puck. The score isn't the entire story.

I agree Fin team hasn't been bad, just literally bad puck luck and sub par goaltending

Very sub par goaltending. Denmark has show alot more effort but still. They are getting ALL THE bounces.
