The point here is that the Canucks offering up Gudbranson originated with Botchford, and just because other media then repeat it does not make it "multiple sources" let alone even one valid source to begin with. Speculation is NOT a source of reality. Please understand the difference between fact and imagination. In fact, I'd say that anyone suggesting or "reporting" that the Canucks are looking to move Gudbranson are actually anti-fans. Why? Because with the roster the way it is, to give up the only real physical presence other than a crippled Dorsett (especially after losing Sbisa) will make us even more of a pushover team -- something an ADMITTED Leafs fan like Botchford would undoubedly LOVE to see so he could whip up the despair in the fanbase here even more. Apparently he lived in the gym since Christmas and has gained a lot of upper body strength. He seems unconcerned with those penciling him for another year of CHL and he wants to show up to camp with NHL body to go along with his NHL skill set. I have said this for months, I think he will turn heads and be a nice surprise and hard to keep out of the line up.
