Wait till Button watches Memorial cup.  He'll be drooling over Vilardi

Like me, he thinks he's a REALLY good player. But if you're looking specifically for a speed/offensive skill player as I believe the Canucks are...

That's not a slight, he just has different tools.

Canucks need to take the best player available, not draft based on style. We still have way to many holes to fill.

Button also mentioned that he has Necas, Glass, Vilardi all in same tier with one none clearly a better option than the other @ForsbergTheGreat

Button isn't a draft god. He makes mistakes. His final rankings aren't even done as well. When it's all said and done he will have Vilardi #3 in his rankings. Necas looks decent but his numbers don't blow you away. Vilardi's numbers aren't god like either but Vilardi passes the eye test every time I watch him.

He might very well. I've said this before many times but people get far too fixated on individual rankings. The draft is best viewed in tiers and they're all in the same tier.

I'd put Patrick and hischier in the same tier then vilardi and mittlestadt in the next tier by themselves.

Button also didn't say a single thing about Casey.  They asked him specifically if there was anyone with skill and speed, they gave him a lob ball and not a thing about him.

Ya that's kinda of surprising considering he's top 5 of most lists
