That should hardly surprise you though after consecutive 3rd & 2nd last place finishes in the league (coupled with some of the dullest hockey on ice many nights on home ice).  People were spoiled from fairly recent history of entertaining hockey (not to mention "W's").

They were the same during the good years. For example, everyone $&!# all over Luongo. They ALWAYS find a target, no matter how good or bad the team is doing. Its not really about the team, its about them. They need to be angry about something.

Out for the Season.....

......here's hoping.::D

Seems a bit harsh doesn't it? Loui has value, just not $6M of value. I prefer hoping that he has a bounce-back season as opposed to hoping he's got a season-ending injury.

I think Glass should have been given a game misconduct for pushing Eriksson. Hopefully next time the Canucks play the Flames, Gudbranson rearranges Tanner's mulleted face.

My brother and I were talking about the lack of penalization with post collisions caused by opposing players. Should be treated much like boarding IMO.

For sure.  I couldn't believe that he didn't even get a penalty.  You could see that he'd clearly shoved Eriksson into the net with quiet a bit of force.  I'm beginning to think that any play where there's an injury should be reviewed.

Maybe you would, maybe you wouldn't. You don't really know until you are there. But, I didn't say what I said out of concern for LE's feelings. It was a jab at angry fans. Fanatics get too worked up about unimportant things, and make the whole experience less enjoyable.

No one is actually angry lol.  This team is lucky we care enough to call players out, if the goal is to have fans care less then mission accomplish their reward is a half empty building.  LE is playing like crap out there, and when players play like crap they get rightfully called out both by fans and the media.  Getting their precious feelings hurt is part of the job just like everyone else in the real world.

fanatics often convince themselves that angry rants are "caring". I doubt you are hurting the player's feelings. If you need to say that to make yourself seem bigger that's pretty sad. I'd rather see a half full building than a building full of nerd ragers.

Wow, so many supposed "Canucks fans" on a Canucks forum hoping that a current Canuck player is injured long-term.

Disgraceful.

Just because the on-ice product has turned to crap doesn't mean the fans behaviour can do the same. You people need to pull your head in and show some respect.

I feel for the guy, its turning into a disaster here for him. You have to wonder if mutual termination is in the cards, it must suck for him to play here.

It's totally miserable, collecting 6 million dollars for dressing like a hockey player for 6 months of the year and standing on some ice for awhile.

I don't wish injury on anybody, that's just brutal. But he's behind his own criticism. It's one thing to not perform while doing the little things, it's a whole 'nother can of worms to just collect the cheque. We had a Messier come do that, and even then the Collect The Cheque guy put up points while looking awful.

Loui consistently looks like he legitimiately does not care about being on the ice. There never appears to be urgency in his game, no matter what role he's slotted into.

Perhaps it's time for a spot in the pressbox for awhile, even post injury. Let him get that enthusiasm for playing back.

yah you're way off on this. He isn't anything like Messier's laziness thats just ridiculous. If you check the stats you'd see he's been a solid defensive player and the Sedin's had their best possession numbers with him. So thats just not a correct assessment imo. He's not a bottom 6 player, and thats where we've put him, its as simple as that.
