Kuma
Sam Gagner and/or Brandon Pirri Lets give one of these guys a show me deal. They are young and can bring some secondary scoring. Why Not.

Guest
Pirri has proven to be a middle six guy. Gagner hasn't proven anything in years, accept he barely makes the roster.

Relyt Krets
I agree.. nothing to lose. $1M or less. Why not give it a go worse comes to worse they get put on waivers and buried in the minors... if you can get them cheaper or at a 2 way contract jump all over that! hatedkid666
crazy to think gagner is only 26, guy has been around forever edit: he has never broken 50 points
Papa Sawce
I'm really hoping we sign Pirri, he had like 22 goals in 40 or so games one year, i'm surpirsed he hasn't signed yet, I like his playing style and will be a decntly cheap option

Either or are going to get you roughly the same amount of points, maybe Pirri will score a handful more goals, but it won't be by much.
Madness
I'd be fine with Pirri.
bolt
Gagner for $1.5 million 1 year would work ok if injuries happens can fill in nicely SEDIN SEDIN ERIKSSON RODIN SUTTER HANSEN BAERTSCHI HORVAT ETEM BURROWS GAGNER DORSETT GRANLUND/GAUNCE VIRTANEN-AHL
Ilya Mikheyev
There's no one on the roster I'd like to see displaced for Gagner, including Granlund, Burrows and/or Gaunce. Don't really see the point unless Gagner is fine with a small contract and being exposed to waivers. Utica could use some top-6 scoring. Gagner shouldn't be guaranteed a spot though. kloubek
Id be happy to get Pirri. Still has some potential, is relatively young, and costs us nothing. I believe he's also versatile, being able to play both center and wing, and move up or down the lineup.
86Viking
Pirri would be a wise signing, but we just have too many players both at forward and on D. So unless we make a trade or two we are going to have to risk losing some players on waivers in the fall. That said, Pirri is still worth offering a deal too imo, but Benning stated he wanted grit who could score, not what Pirri brings to the best of my knowledge he just snipes.
