TheRussianRocket.
Gaglardi and co just toying with the Aquilini's at this point lol. ...first the trade deadline gongshow, they end up signing Hamhuis anyways, and now Cracknell who the Canucks reportedly wanted to bring back. -Vintage Canuck-
Great guy off-ice, good player for the role he is given, but I don't think the Canucks had room to have him on the team as a fourth line player or a depth forward.

Warhippy
GMJB out GM Ya I can't do it. Love that Cracker but no room here Gaunce deserves his shot. He's earned it
johngould21
It appeared on the surface that the Canuck team liked AC as a team mate. BUT, I think the younger guys deserve their chance to do what he was capable of. For a bigger player, he seemed to get bounced off the puck pretty easily, just my opinion. Harvey Spector
Aquilini will get the last laugh when he convinces Jamie Benn to come back home. Worst thing you can do is f$$k with an Italian. Gaglardi already tried to do this and lost. Aquilini will screw him over again a second time. They can have our leftovers in Hamhuis and Cracknell. We will come after the big fish. That's how the Aquilini's role. Messing with an Italian usually gets you into a bit of trouble, just ask these guys...

Ya... aquilini must be on stress leave cause dallas signed cracknell. And hammer isnt part of the canucks plans going forward, so why would ownership care? aliboy
Glad he signed in Dallas, didn't like the reports that we were considering him.
oldnews
Love Cracknell. But not what we need imo. I think we could use a veteran shutdown C with comparable grit - that can win faceoffs - ie. Chipchura. Otherwise I'd go with a heavy young LW prospect like Lessio. Or the trade route - I liked theminister's idea of Pedan for Paquette. But a nice signing for Dallas. Who could argue with adding Cracknell?

Yes, because owners love to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars just to p*** off other owners. Maybe they signed Cracknell for the same reason that Vancouver did once and thought about a second time: he's a veteran journeyman who is reliable and a good teammate.
