-Vintage Canuck-
We already have too many bottom-six players. Thus, I think Jim Benning would prefer to give a a roster spot to a rookie rather than a 39-year-old forward. If the Canucks were looking to add a forward, it would be a young, second line player, who could help the team in secondary scoring.
mll
The Penguins want him back but it might not work cap wise. His wife and his three sons are in Minnesota and ideally he'd like to sign with them to be closer to family. From the Star Tribune: One player it's talking to is Matt Cullen, who is intrigued by potentially returning after today's signing of one of his closest friends and former teammates, Eric Staal.
