argeet
Hey guys, Ehrhoff is a proven, solid and veteran d-man...and I am sure we could get him for ≈ 1.2 million. What do you think? Sure he's old, but I am sure he has at least a season left in the tank.

ButterBean
If he's willing to take a cheap 1 year deal I'm all for it. He has experience playing the right side and he could play on the bottom pairing. Don't know much about Larsen but other than Hutton we don't have any defensemen who can rush the puck and chip in on offense. Sedins would get a huge boost on the power play and 5 on 5. SaintPatrick33
He pretty much retired once the Sabres gave him 40 mill. Could not crack the Hawks bottom pair D who only play 5 minutes per game as it is!
Honky Cat
Don't think so..JB signed Philip Larsen for the short term...and Olli Juolevi will be the guy in a couple of years....
LaBamba
I bet you googled "remaining NHL free agents, saw Erhoff and was like "I'm totally making a thread"
ItsMillerTime
We don't need no more d men or 4th 3rd line forwards.
Nex is my ex
He's a turnover machine, unless you plan on joining tanknation next season I'd say no to this signing.. he was never great defensively and now that his offence is gone he's nothing. Harsh but true, moving on.
timmylu1
I think we've blown up the defence enough over the last couple seasons. let them build chemistry and see how well the do before making more additions/changes.

LaBamba
Maybe you get an auto +1 for the 1st thread, 1st post combination. It can never happen again you know. If they don't have this feature I suggest they should.

Patrick Kane
Coming from a huge Ehrhoff fan, he is basically done in the NHL.
jmahyoung
If we are in the playoff hunt by Dec, I would look at him as a budget signing. Your numbers of 1.2 million for 1-2 seasons make sense to me. He would be a value at that level, as a 7-8th depth offensive D. If we are out of the playoffs, there is no need to sign him.

Winter Soldier
People show a surprisingly amount of loyalty to the guy who chased the money instead of being part of a (at the time) strong team.

Tony Da Tigre
No. Next. It's been FIVE years since the forgettable Cup Finals. Time to let the past be the past. To expect Ehrhoff to magically light it up like the 2011 days after bouncing around like a pinball around the league is ridiculous. No man, we try to groom our young guys to take over the team because our 20-million-dollar, 31 and 35yr old top line ain't getting any younger.
