wai_lai416
Tkachuk will be a good player for the Flames playing along side Gudreau Bennette and Monahan. Just hope it doesn't come back and bite as in the ass by passing up on bpa
Toews
Let's hope they send him back to London. A stronger Knights team will benefit Juolevi. Just now, thejazz97 said: Elite 2nd liner IMO I think his ceiling is a 1st line LW.

JeremyCuddles
I don't really care how the draft works out for others, just how our players work out for us. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't pay any attention to could-have-beens for us.
timberz21
Doubt he makes the Flames' team this year. It will be interesting to see how he produces in the OHL without Marner and Dvorak. However, if Marner ends up back in the OHL with Tkachuk and Juolevi, they would be the early favorites for a Memorial Cup repeat. Also good chance we see Tkachuk/Boeser on USA's first line at the WJHC.

Hopefully Juolevi chooses to go back to the OHL instead of playing in Europe. I think another year in such a strong development program and another Memorial Cup run would benefit his development. Apparently he's eligible because he's on loan to London and not actually obligated to play in the OHL.

It really depends on who you talk to, whether it's Central Scouting or whether it's another scouting firm. If you're basing it on Central Scouting, know that that's only 1 firm and not the end all for saying someone's the bpa. Furthermore, GM's all have their own systems and lists as well as the media. Just wanted to point that out. I think claiming that Tkachuk was the bpa at that time isn't really all that accurate.

Odd.
I was never really sold on Tkachuk. It was either Dubois for me or trade down.. If we had drafted Tkachuk I wouldn't have been mad, but certainly not thrilled. Couldn't be happier drafting Juolevi though. One thing can be mentioned for both Juolevi and Tkachuk is that will they be able to carry the workload for London next year with the departures of Marner and Dvorak? Tkachuk especially. I really want to see how well he does now that the TDM line is most gone. I doubt Marner goes back for another year. 3 minutes ago, timberz21 said: There is also the AHL option which will be interesting. I had heard that, but I still think another year with the London Knights would be better for his development.
