Angry Goose
So what are your opinions on him? Could he be a future #1 C? I've always liked him as a player, and he might slot in nicely in front of Sutter and Horvat. Eriksson Schenn Boesner as a potential scoring line? PHI has Giroux, Couturier, and Laughton. He is probably in the ballpark of somewhere in the 6million range for a new contract. Perhaps Schenn isn't in their future plans anymore? What would it take to get him, if PHI is even interested in letting him go?
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
I think he has been converted to be a LW now. He is a gritty player who can score. Can a pretty good year last season, considering how Ron Hextall and co were shopping him several times last year, they might be looking to do again since he is an RFA. Despite being good, since being drafted by the Kings in the first round and projected to be a first line centre, he hasn't really lived up to that expectation yet. Phil_314
I'd want him too, he'd fit the mold of the gritty scoring winger, but he just had a career season (26 G - 33 A - 59 P) and doubt Philly management would let him go for cheap. Wonder what they'd want for him?

Art Vandelay
I see him as a second line center. But he has played wing more lately. He has produced well the last three years, but his possession stats are not first line. I very much believe players on the first line should have good possession numbers as they are on the ice the most and need to drive your team. And he is not worth $6 million. Maybe as a UFA he could get that much, but as a RFA he should get around what Palmieri got, but max I'd give him is $4.25 million . Man middle six players salaries have inflated lately. mll
He's a top-6 F for the Flyers. Hextall lamented that they did not have enough cap space to acquire another top-6. They aren't going to move Schenn. In fact, he commented that Schenn will for sure be at training camp - he was asked because he filed for arbitration. Also Philadelphia are not looking for Ds. Weise said that the sales pitch of Hextall was around their young and upcoming Ds.
Jaku
Schenn is a top line forward in the making. He plays a game that's fun to watch, had a very good year this year, and I believe he is poised to have another good year. But if the Canucks do send him an offer sheet it will be without a doubt matched by the Flyers.

Baka
Though Schenn is listed as a Center simply because the Flyers have been log jammed at Center he has been playing a lot of wing. He had only 116 face off attempts in 80 games last season. He is a good hockey player though and plays hard. Developed a bit slowly but is looking like it is starting to click. At worst he is a 50-60 point player who can post 200 hits a season.

86Viking
Schenn would be a great addition, but it would cost alot to get him I would assume and nobody here would want to pony up to their asking price. Top end prospect or young elc NHL player and or a 1st round pick and something else good. If we could somehow get Philly to bite on Hansen, but I think they are going to sign him long term before arbitration. Schenn Horvat Virtanen - Looks like a fast edgy hard to play against line for many years ! Definitely fits the profile to this so called player we are looking to acquire via trade tho. Schenn is likely to get term and 4.5-5.25m on his next deal I am sure. Here is a thought, long shot, but Philly did offer sheet Kesler back in the day, albeit for like 1.9m. Likely Philly matches any deal we send but karma for doing that back in the day we could try to snag Schenn that route? 6yr @ 5.5m per would mean a 1st and 3rd round pick. I would probably be okay with that getting Schenn
Ojibwa72
Let Philly sign him to see what range it is then chase him. Make Hextall do the work of the contract.
kloubek
I'd love to have him on the team. He works super hard, and even though he is developing slower than expected, he's getting better and better every year. I expect to see him as a top-20 league scorer next season. That ain't bad.
