-Vintage Canuck-
Quote Free agent goalie Ben Scrivens won’t play in North America this upcoming season. The 29-year-old goalie has agreed to a deal to play in the KHL. As multiple sources indicated early on Thursday morning, he has been signed to a one-year deal with Dinamo Minsk. After an average season, he will be joining one of the league’s best teams in Belarus, where he will be the clear starter leaving Kevin Lalande and Dmitri Milchakov behind him. Scrivens spent this past season hopping between NHL and AHL, appearing on the ice for three different teams, Bakersfield Condors, Montreal Canadiens, and St. John’s Ice Caps. http://thehockeywriters.com/ben-scrivens-signs-in-khl/
Kakanucks
Ouch. Was he really that bad? I thought he was average at best, but not bad enough to not even get a NHL backup job.
HerrDrFunk
Wow, just 2 years ago he was flying high in LA. What a difference good D makes.

RWMc1
It's funny that every player traded for Kassian has sucked their way out of the NHL while Kassian still has an NHL job.

Down by the River
Pretty intelligent guy, could probably find a decent 6 figure non-hockey related job elsewhere. This shows his passion for the game, IMO.
GB5
This is better than signing as a backup in Toronto again I guess.

I hope you're right. I've always liked Zack. I think he has a lot of work to do if he ever wants to be considered a top six forward. I can see him being a third liner with maybe a few shots at a top 6 spot but never a regular there.
