Rush17
It really shows the stress, dedication, and focus these guys have put into our nhl club. You know the old saying the US president often looks like hes aged 10 years when hes done. Al though they don't look that weathered they certainly look worn down from the 2 short years in charge. I think its important we understand and respect these are just people. Hope they both continue to work hard but get the rest they deserve. Balance is one thing Linden stressed in the beginning and I think its one thing they both should work towards. Things will align when they are ready to align. Hope they give themselves at least a 2 week break this season. They deserve it!!
ehdee
The pressure on them from the fans, media, and ownership is absolutely ridiculous. So not too suprising their faces are showing it.

Fanaholic
I am sure the empty seats in the building aren't helping the cause either. When I went to seat relocation I was shell shocked by the number of available seats. All they have to do is have a TEAM on the ice that plays hard and provides some excitement on the ice - WIN or LOSE, it does not matter. Just exciting hockey is all we ask for. Jam126
Being a GM is hard stuff. But Dale Tallon looks exactly the same he was 10 years ago.

If I lived on the mainland I'd grab those $55/mo season ticket seats. But I live on the island so a trip over costs way too much. Ferry, Hotel, Food on the road. Thats a $500 trip for a game for 2. Fred65
I get a kick out of Benning looks to me like he actually dyes his hair Jim son every one gets old, accept it gracefully. There was an interview a couple weeks back and he hadn't clearly been keeping up his schedule and his hair looked almost white. But stress is what you make of it
Jack Fig
They can keep the stress down by working out. Trevor of course has no excuse and should be hitting a Club16 regularly. Jim should too, I'm sure Trevor would offer him a 10% discount.
kingofsurrey
Right now the club is hurting in terms of marketability and ticket sales. Must be very stressful to have ownership freaking out on you. Who are the in PRIME stars that our clubs marketing team can promote when they try to sell tickets ? TIME TO Sign a few more old declining in skill UFA's to long term deals. This is our dilemma . WE need a very strong management team - one that can hold the course in stormy weather. Do we have this kind of strong - in it for the long term win - management team ? Having said that I have always sat in the lower bowl but decided if I were to come back I wanted seats in Upper Bowl 3 or 4 so at season end I traded my two lower bowl seats for two unseen seats in upper bowl 3 with the idea of going to seat relocation. I didn't even know if I were be able to do the trade but just asked. I had never asked for it before. WELL, for so many reasons I didn't want to sit in those seats and ended up renewing for the same almost $11,000 price tag for two seats in the lower bowl. They are not at center ice, but they are behind the net where the visiting team shoots twice in row six and on the aisle. They are pricey seats I know that and likely I won't be able to sell any even at cost but it doesn't matter. I love hockey; I am a crazy fan and like to just go and have a good time. I can see the big issues of price coming from the island and agree with you that if you don't know someone here it is costly to stay, then there is the ferry ride and on you go. . . If you could get over to see two games where it is just the one trip and it's teams you like it might be worth coming even just one time. Yes I realize there are still a lot of costs added on. Has his boss tasked him with selling tickets now or long term? JB signed a 5 year deal so he basically has just under 2 years to earn an extension.
