brilac
I don't know why I am giggling at this: We're sorry, your flight has been canceled. And they spelled 'canceled' wrong. Or I guess it's spelled both ways. I am not really annoyed. I mean, all the news stations say there is going to be a snow storm on Friday evening and Saturday. So the airline cancelled the 8am flight for Saturday, and put us on the 10:45am flight going down to San Francisco. I was expecting the flight to be cancelled, having the airline wait til Friday evening to notify us, but that was nice of them to think ahead, and notify us on Wednesday, instead of Friday. And they even sent a text message followed by an email notifying us. That's so nice of them to send text messages. My mother and I decided already that we were not going to fly to San Francisco on Saturday due to the weather report and possibly having trouble getting back the same day due to snow, and that we were taking a late evening flight back, and they could possibly cancel it due to weather in Seattle. The plan was to wait for the airline to cancel the flight, and then call them to have the flight credited back, instead of calling them before it was cancelled. The 10:45am flight really does not work for us. So I will call them tomorrow. I am curious why they cancelled the flight... Once I was at the airport, and the flight was delayed, and I thought it was due to fog, but I was curious. So I went up to the agent and asked why. And it was due to a First Commander not showing up, so it was delayed by a few hours, and once we landed, I ran to the train as we got off the plane in San Francisco because I had a ticket to Alcatraz and didn't want to miss it. So I got on the train, and got off downtown, and lucky for me, there was a cab there, and I got in the cab, and got to the terminal 5 minutes before the cut off time for departure. So yeah, I will call them tomorrow. We don't want to take the 10:45am flight and then have it delayed if it is snowing, and just want the cost of the airfare credited back to us, and then maybe we will go down to San Francisco at the end of March or April. Oh yeah, and my mother owes me for 2 bottles of champagne and candy. She recently bribed me with that to call the airline, and with the excuse - 'You're so good at speaking with them.' And I'm like - 'They give me a headache, and even a more of a headache after getting off the phone with them.' Oh yeah, even more giggles: We take our promise to provide you with an exceptional travel experience very seriously and sincerely regret letting you down today. But the most giggling thing about it is, they always let me down. Edited February 7, 2019 by brilac Quote Link to comment
luckylager
People who have long, loud, obnoxious cell phone conversations while on public transit. I ride my bike to work 99% of the time and enjoy it. Unfortunately, on Monday I crashed because of some black ice and miscalculation on my part. Hurt my hip and lower back, but also did a number on my bike and have been bussing to work the last couple of days.... I hate it. I hate it almost enough to drive 5km like a planet killing weakling and pay $16 parking. Anyways, there's always some douchenozzle, or self centred princess having an obnoxiously loud conversation with one of their loser friends and I want to smack the $&!# out of them. Shut up. Just shut the &^@# up. Nobody cares what novel you're reading, where you ate last night, or what another one of your useless foolish friends posted on insta, you pretentious, self absorbed blowhard. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kanukfanatic
I hate weak minded left wing apologists that think criminals should not be punished but they should be rehabilitated. You cannot rehabilitate some of those little gang banger killers in the lower mainland. If they get convicted of killing someone they should get the death penalty. I could not care less about rehabilitating some little scum bag criminal. Do something illegal and violent then pay the price. I hate the left wing judges that say stupid s&*% like "they are not a danger to others" when they inevitably release people who killed their family members. They say stupid crap like they only wanted to kill their wife so they are not a danger to the public - stupidest thing I have ever heard yet they say it over and over. Then these liberal weak ahole judges let the killers walk around in the community. They should lock up those weak minded judges with the killers for a year and then see what they think after they get abused over and over. Oh yeah...I think it is just weird that some people just put an X on their driver license. Give me a break. Edited February 8, 2019 by Kanukfanatic Quote Link to comment

Qwags
Grammer mistakes, but only my own. I will not hesitate to correct any grammatical error, even something as small as capitalization. If it's someone else, couldn't care less. Quote Link to comment
YummyCakeFace
Andrew Scheer. What a knob. He never ceases to take advantage of any opportunity to tell us all how morally superior he is. I’d never vote for that see-through fake wiener. Quote Link to comment

brilac
I bought cat litter through Target online with my pick up items. Cat litter was $5.49, and shipping was not charged at checkout. I received an email today with the $6.00 shipping charge... Cat litter cost me almost $12.00. I am better off going to the grocery store to buy cat litter and pack it home. Quote Link to comment

bishopshodan
Using the disabled door opener button when you are an able bodied person. I am surprised so many do it. It is lazy and actually wastes some energy. https://recyclenation.com/2015/03/unnecessary-use-of-automatic-door-openers-how-much-energy-is-wasted/ Another reason it irritates me is it really slows everyone down. Most entrance doors open to the outside ( fire code) this means if you are behind a button pusher you have to wait for the mechanism to slowly swing open at 1/4 the speed you could have yanked the door open. But, even worse...you parents that let your kids play with them. You deserve to be slapped silly and should not be allowed in public until you can control the beasts you decided to bring in to this world. Hey when it's -25 outside and I'm walking from the parking lot into my work, I don't want to expose my hands or wear gloves for 30s. Those door openers are nice. Quote Link to comment

Way too easy for young people to get involved. Still stinks. still smoke in public. still a time toilet for people that should be working instead of smoking/vaping. and straight up not as cool looking as original smoking which is still an idiotic habit. 1 Quote Link to comment

Lamest trend out there. The only character I can think of that looks even slightly cool vaping is.... but he doesn't look very healthy. Edited April 5, 2019 by bishopshodan Quote Link to comment

The only character I can think of that looks even slightly cool vaping is.... but he doesn't look very healthy. I'm afraid it's not a trend. Definitely here to stay. On my recent vacation in Hawaii I was surprised how popular it is down there. Way more people vaping than smoking, like 4:1 or more. Especially on the beaches. Nobody smokes cigs on the beaches. I vaped for 2years to get off nicotine and it worked! Patches, gum, will power.. None of em worked for me but gradually reducing the nic content of vape juice did. And now I'm free. I wasn't in to the flavoured juices. Found this place that makes "organic ejuice" that literally tasted like hot air. I was a closet vaper though. It looks so odd I was embarrassed to make eye contact with anyone while smoking the robo-dink. I really don't get the guys who make a big show of it.. It looks ridiculous 1 Quote Link to comment
