(Proposal) rebuild on the fly

So since we are in this awkward rebuild on the fly stage I've decided to make it interesting. I heard that anaheim is desperately looking to get rid of fowler so that they can resign rakell anf lindholm.  Theyre are even going as far as to add draft picks to the deal. Anaheim is looking for a cheap player return so they have room to resign their rfas and to stay competative bcuz they are in win now mode.  Plus anaheim has a ton of young good defenseman. So my suggestion...

Sorry @bure_pavel for taking that trade but I 100% agree, only thing your missing is replacement for edler.

Don't think the Ducks would trade fowler for spare parts, and Krejci is more valuable than Edler.

So they want to shed cap right, why would they trade a 4 mill cap hit for hansen (2.5 mill) and dorsett (2.65 mill)? They end up losing over a mill in cap space with this trade, unless you are supposing that one of them gets sent down? And yeah it would be more like Edler + 2nd or 3rd.

There could be a deal with Fowler since duck will need to move one of their D before expansion, but I don't know if that's the right deal. 

 

I also don't know why we'd want Krejci our center depth is one of our strong suits. Why not move edler for something we have a need for. Like in a package to dallas.  Something along the lines of:

 

Miller (%50 retained) + Edler for  Nichushkin + Niemi + conditional 2nd (becomes a 1st if Dallas reaches WCF)

Besides, I don't see us needing another dman; At least not until we know what we have with our current core of blueliners. Maybe we look at the TDL but for now, I believe our blueline is set.
