Hi guys, and welcome to the NHL Goalie Rankings, by fans, for fans. We're all hockey fans here, and I thought this would be a great place to conduct a bit of a research project, specifically, seeing how fans would rate NHL goalies. I am an aspiring blogger, and I am currently working on building a website, so getting some content right now would be great.

I'm thinking of starting with the top-50 goalies, but if the demand is high enough, we could go to 100.

I appreciate all of the time you'll take voting, and I'm always looking for feedback. I'm very curious to see the results!

Thanks, and happy voting.

Probably would have voted Carey Price, but with the uncertainty after last year's injury plagued season, I'd drop him a few spots. May be a bit biased but I like Corey Schneider at #1 and would love to see the numbers he'd put up on a team like Chicago, LA or even Washington.

Nominate Devan Dubnyk

Just for the sake of posing the question.... Does anyone else think that answering Carey Price is incorrect? I mean the question was, who is the best goalie going into the [upcoming season]. And Carey Price has just finished rehabbing from a serious injury that cost him the season, I think it's pretty illogical to place him at the top of the list due to that. If the question were, "Which goalie is going to have the best season," then I'd be in agreement that at least answering Carey Price is a valid answer...

The devil is in the details!!!!!!

When Lemieux was forced out of action in the late 90's due to health reasons everyone knew he was still the best player in the game - when he came back he proved it by averaging almost 2pts per gm.

I'm confident Price will dominate upon his return.

Interesting example,  but I'm not certain it's applicable to this case since you can't cherry-pick a goalies deployment to only put them in favorable on-ice situations as happened with Lemieux - Price will have nowhere to hide if at any point his defense  (or forwards) bail on him.

But I still believe he's #1.
