SabreFan1
Loses millions in endorsements. Looks like a lying fool to the whole world. Once again proves how dumb he is. Now he's banned for 10 months and will miss the 2017 World Championships. Being a dumb as* is costly. http://olympics.nbcsports.com/2016/09/07/ryan-lochte-suspension-swimming-olympics/

Jaku
he deserves all of it. Every endorsement he lost, his humiliation, and now this. This is golden.
Art Vandelay
Some dumb*** gets drunk, lies about a story, and embarrasses his country(didn't really because... 'murica); And the result is he loses millions in endorsements, loses all credibility and gets suspended from his job. (I'm not even sure he lied. Recalling what actually happens when intoxicated is sometimes nearly impossible) But when people in charge of the country do it...literally no one is surprised and one will for sure be the next US president. Man, as I get older, I'm realizing how retarded some things in life are.

It was on the E! It was called "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" (no joke) and it failed miserably. Time for him to make like Michael Jackson and beat it. How are you not sure he lied? They have video from the gas station. Usually when Politicians do it, they are actually arrested. I didn't mean to say Lochte was not punished correctly. To me, from my experience of remembering incidents while drinking a little too much, I can be confident in what actually happened but be completely wrong. I think it's a mix of that and being a dumb***. My reference to politicians is more related to campaign promises and what they say on TV/debates in regards to statistics or doing revisionists history. Obviously there are times when politicians lie just like Lochte and get punished. But overall, they get away with lying when it affects the public. ShakyWalton
LOS ANGELES — Ryan Lochte says he feels "a little hurt" after being involved in an altercation on "Dancing with the Stars" that prompted producers to cut to commercials. The beleaguered swimmer was reportedly rushed by an unknown pair of men wearing anti-Lochte T-shirts while receiving his scores from judge Carrie Ann Inaba on Monday's live installment of the celebrity ballroom dance competition. "Hey, back off," Inaba said as the altercation was occurring off screen. When the show returned, "Dancing with the Stars" host Tom Bergeron explained they were interrupted by "a little incident" and thanked the ABC series' security team "for staying in shape." The swimmer told Bergeron that "so many feelings are going through my head right now." Lochte added that he was "a little hurt, but I came out here. I wanted to do something I'm completely not comfortable with, and I did." ABC did not immediately return messages seeking comment about the incident. Lochte and teammates were involved in an early-morning drunken encounter at a Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, gas station during the Olympics before claiming they were threatened and robbed. He was banned for 10 months, required to forfeit $100,000 in bonuses and will miss the 2017 world championships.

His arrogance knows no bounds. He honestly seems to think that this incident in Rio of causing an international incident while he was representing his country should just disappear.......and for that reason alone, it shouldn't. I actually tuned in to watch him crash and burn on DWTS...... sorry, the dance floor is not a swimming pool...... and now have this incident to look forward to as it unfolds.... Knew I should have watched it in the earlier time zone! Suck it up, disgraceful princess...

Seems like there was a physical altercation of some sort, or physical intimidation attempted which I'm not sure he deserves. I mean yeah, the guy is a tool but any documented "nefarious" incident he's been involved in so far doesn't warrant more than whatever a law court can hand out.
