Looks pretty slick. Not the click bait hellhole that is HockeyBuzz and Eklund's rumour rating system.

I have been on the MLB site for a long time. Its as good as it gets. Not sure how it will go since they try to have legit sources and we know the others just throw garbage against the wall.

Yeah I can also vouch for the quality of the all their sites. Profootballrumors.com, Hoopsrumors.com, MLBTraderumors.com.

The issue with hockey though is that fundamentally it's a sport where transactions don't occur outside of two days in a year. So it has been my experience that following this site has been rather boring, given the nature of hockey less so than the quality/nature of the site itself. They do some interesting things on their other sites, like compiling a list of blog headlines and linking to them, so you might find interesting commentaries from a market you don't usually read from. They also redo old drafts via polls.

So yeah if any of it sounds interesting to you, try out any of the relevant sites that you care about, at least you'll be getting accurate news on any sports transaction.

I have to give it to Eklund. The dude had no sources when he started, just makes up bs and a ranking system, gets a ton of followers and makes money talking crap...pretty smart if you ask me

He knows what sells, and how rabid hockey fans are for any type of news. He certainly hires some crapty writers though.

I personally feel most or all rumour sites are crap.  Made by a bunch of non insiders who make stuff up and have no actual sources.

Are Dreger, Mackenzie, Friedman and Kipper not enough to satisfy peoples rumour fixes?  Why must we make people like Eklund, etc famous.

Local idiots like Purple Grimace, Tanbir, etc who try and be insiders only to have all their "rumours" be disproven in no time.

To me its as bad as all these hockey stat guru's being hired by NHL teams. Crazy...

I feel for Grimace though. If he ever falls down, he's $***@% with those tiny arms.
