-Vintage Canuck-
Quote Nystrom signed a professional tryout agreement (PTO) with St. Louis on Thursday, James Mirtle of TSN 1050 reports. The left wingman was relatively unproductive with Nashville last season as he managed only seven goals and no assists in 46 games played. However, at 33 years old, he would bring hockey acumen and a good sense of the ice to any team he eventually joins. If the veteran ends up signing with the Blues, he would likely compete for a third-line role behind up-and-coming forwards Jaden Schwartz and Robby Fabbri. http://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/hockey/news/blues-eric-nystrom-trying-out-for-blues/
