Explosion In Manhattan Injures At Least 29 A Few Hours After Pipe Bomb Explosion In New Jersey

A few Hours ago a pipe bomb exploded in a trash bin in New Jersey along a Marine Corp race route with no injuries and now another suspected bomb explosion in Manhattan has non-fatally injured at least 29 people.

Good thing it's amateur hour with the person(s).  He's/they're probably hoping for shrapnel but all he's/their doing is deflecting the explosion back in on itself using dumpsters and trash cans.

One thing about NYC, they have lots of cops and firemen.  They get a tad jumpy when there's explosions. 

 

If it's one or two people causing this and they plan on continuing, they may end up taking the short train ride to Philadelphia.  I'd stick cops in both main train stations.

Hopefully they are caught quickly before anyone is killed.  Obvious statement, but you're right, the more numbers the better right now.

Not a chance.  There's no provision in the Constitution for him to be able to suspend Congress, and they would remove him if he tried to declare it.

 

If he refused after that, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court would swear in the next president after the states held the upcoming election.  Then he'd be out of power and couldn't even order a soldier to do push-ups at that point.
