Does this mean you're eating cat food nowadays?

Is it as yummy as it looks in the adverts? Cuz Fancy Feast looks scrumptious, but I don't think I'm ready to take the plunge just yet

Oh yeah, so the munchie meal was delivered.  I'm down to the fries and eating them with a fork. I always eat stuff with a fork and knife except for those tiny Hershey's bite size things.  My George does not like canned cat food, which I wish she would eat.

If I could go back in time I'd give my cat raw food, she only lived to 10.  I bet it was those dam temptations treats.

My Sally started developing health issues when she was 10.  She lived until 14.5 years.  Her last day, my mom and I went to visit her at the animal hospital and she was so excited to see me. She rolled over showing her belly, did not like it when my mom petted her, and perked her head over at the Bengal cat and hissed. I thought she was getting better, and then after midnight, I received a call and they told me that her vitals were low and she was probably not going to make it. I did everything for that cat.  She had the best vet who only specialized in cats, had a pet sitter when I would go up to Vancouver or to Montreal, ate the best cat food, etc, but her body was shutting down and there was nothing I could do when the end hit. Two month later, I met George and took her home. She was being fostered.  She had homes prior and am her fourth home.  She is the best!  A really nice cat and so sweet!

I ran 10k for the second time ever, this time in under an hour.  Felt nice with the drizzle this morning and I explored some nearby bike trials for the first time.  My legs are jelly right now lol.20210808_174707.thumb.jpg.16266a68fa1b2b338431df71007aaf47.jpg

Currently chilling in the sun and indulging in the Devil's Lettuce.

Ah summer is fading fast.

Ah I know!  I upvoted your picture to a Like because I like your picture.  I've said many times that years ago I used to take the train up to Vancouver and it passes through White Rock, and I was always so awww, what a cutesy town this is!

It'll always be my home but the vibe has definitely changed with all the towers shooting up.

I'd love to take a train ride one day up north in the winter time.  I've seen some ads but way too rich for my blood lol.

I would really like to go to Whistler again.  I have not been there for years.  I really like snow.

So I purchased my meet and greet / VIP ticket to the NKOTB concert in June 2022.  I had to think about it.  I've been a saver of money and I enjoy saving, but every so often, I need to live a little, so I got the ticket. Then I remembered a times when I splurged.  Like the time I flew first class to Montreal and back and sat behind the net at a Canadiens game during the Playoffs, and the time I was at London Heathrow airport drinking champagne before it was time to board my flight.  I was looking over at the Gucci store and thinking about a new handbag. That was an expensive handbag, but it was cheaper getting the bag there than in Seattle, and I knew I was over the limit for duty, but after speaking with the customs agent in Seattle - small talk, Sub Pop, my trip, etc, the duty was waived. I'm not much for talk, but sometimes you just have to have a conversation.

I've been on a diet for almost a month - intermittent fasting 12 hours a day at 1,600 calories, walking, eating healthier, and not drinking the champagne.  But today, I am craving Qdoba and champagne!  I want!  I've lost 8 pounds.  Maybe a salad and kombucha.

I went below 180lbs since forever.  I started doing the 8hr diet thingy and still running over 20k a week.  Gotta use it or lose it!

That's great!  I changed my intermittent fasting to 10 hours a day at 1,600 calories.  After losing 8 pounds, it was harder to lose weight after that, losing a pound a week.  I'm slender, but I would like to be thinner.

Unfortunately for me I still have some residual jelly left behind lol.  I hope it'll go away some day, I sure do miss swimming and the sauna.  Our sauna in the building is still closed, sucks.  In there I had a nice workout routine on the benches that really targeted my abs.  I could never replicate that routine outside of the sauna for some reason.

How many calories and what do you eat each day?  I have not drank the champagne in over a month.  I've been drinking water, kombucha, coffee, and tea.

Not a lot.  A full chicken breast, cup of rice, couple Activia yogurts and then homemade baked goods like cake or cookies.

I love cake and cookies! But as long as I keep it at 1600 calories and within a 10 hour time frame.

Waiting for the Leafs lineup to get through so the Montreal game can start.

Not going to win much points on presentation but it was all delicious.  I've always enjoyed baking as a kid so I bought a stem mixer, a marble board and started with bread when the pandemic first hit.  I found my mom's old cookbook from 1985 and baked brownies from that.  Then I substituted regular flour with cake flour and added some vinegar with the baking powder to get it like a cake.  Been trying to perfect mocha icing, cannot find any mocha powder for baking locally so I have to use actual coffee mix.  Eight bucks in butter alone for that cake lol.
