cuporbust
Hey guys. Found this interesting article on Canucks great Dave babych and thought some might enjoy it. For those that don't remember dave , he was a 2nd overall jets draft pick in 1978 , and his brother was taken third making them the highest drafted brothers in nhl history at the time. , a feat matched by .... U guessed it , the sedins. He was an all-star twice, still the only canuxk d man to ever record a hat trick in the regular season , and played 7 years here. That's the short version Thank god for dave , and his mustache http://bc.ctvnews.ca/mobile/ex-canuck-dave-babych-rescues-injured-girl-from-north-shore-trail-1.3081208

Riviera82
That's just awesome. Good thing it was Babych that wandered by and not Jordan Schroeder or someone like that.

Kevin Biestra
Babych is awesome. Also close to the most underrated scoring defenseman in NHL history.
-AJ-
Says in the video that he carried her on his shoulder for 35 minutes. She seemed pretty young, but that's still pretty cool.

Baggins
Wait - Canucks Legend??? I liked Babych but calling him a legend is an exaggeration. Anyway, good on him for helping that girl out.
PrinceGeorgeGoon
You don't think he's a legend? Doesn't matter. He came upon an injured child and did what you hope any decent person would do. He helped. Impressively beyond that he carried a sizeable injured person. Have you ever held a toddler for 35 minutes? Have you ever carried groceries thinking you don't need a cart for 35 minutes? Guys a legend.

Nucker 67
I remember as a teenager living in Winnipeg at the time, going to a Jets game in the 80s and getting to meet Dave Babych after the game, and Dave's wife (Sherrey Buffie), who was also there. Apparently Dave and his brother Wayne were married to twin sisters. I just remember wanting to get a picture with his wife more than him (hehe) She was uhh...very nice.
