nucklehead
http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/28/us/oklahoma-beheading/ Quote A man accused of beheading a woman in Oklahoma will be charged Monday, authorities said. Charges against Alton Alexander Nolen, 30, will include first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon, according to Jeremy Lewis, spokesman for the Moore, Oklahoma, police. Nolen, a recent convert to Islam, allegedly attacked a woman Thursday at a Vaughan Foods processing plant soon after he learned he'd lost his job there. Police said he walked into the front office and attacked one of the first people he encountered, Colleen Hufford, 54. He severed her head with a knife and then attacked Traci Johnson, 43. Johnson is in stable condition at a nearby hospital for treatment of "numerous wounds," according to police.

DeNiro
More coverage because he's muslim. Reality is he was a mentally unstable person who happened to have recently converted to Islam. But the media loves the headline, so lets not let facts get in the way.

SabreFan1
If you want a dose of irony when it comes to a Muslim beheading..... Quote In February 2009, Hassan, who founded a TV network aimed at countering Muslim stereotypes, went to a police station in the Buffalo, New York, suburb of Orchard Park and told officers his wife was dead, police have said. Aasiya Hassan had been decapitated and the long knife used by her husband had left marks on his office's tile floor, prosecutors said during opening statements. http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/03/09/new.york.beheading/

SabreFan1
Who cares about the CNN article. A two year old story isn't worth everybody going all Social Justice Warrior over.... Putting Muslim in the title gains them more clicks, which brings in more advertising revenue pure and simple. CNN became full of corporate wh*res years ago. Raymond Luxury Yacht
Quote Nolen, a recent convert to Islam, allegedly attacked a woman Thursday at a Vaughan Foods processing plant soon after he learned he'd lost his job there. When someone recently coverts to a religion, does it become a requirement to include their faith as an adjective in media and thread titles? Would it be the same if he recently converted to Judaism or Hinduism? The guy is an angry murderer, he likely identified with violence, not religion. Trump News Network (TNN) is more appropriate. That man has received billions of free airtime. Why? He brings in mass ratings. Don't blame CNN though, I guess, it's the stupid ignorant masses that eat this up daily..

Maybe next time a priest is charged with molesting a child, he should be called, some guy... This is a recycled story, but acts of violence are becoming commonplace in Europe now and going largely unreported by major networks.

It brings in more eyeballs which rakes in more money. A muslim will usually be called out as a muslim for the same reason. In the US, it's always about the money and prejudice sells newspapers, magazines, and online ads.
