By far...the best run franchise in the National Hockey League is in the hockey hot bed..  Florida.

How many of our Canuck's dollars get sent the Lightening way, so they can sign these guys?  It's kind of frustrating, isn't it, supporting these teams so they can be better than we are???

Sometimes, winning the Cup is more important than the amount of money you make. Tampa Bay has a great chance to win the Cup within the next 3-5 years so he took a major discount to do so.

Yeah but Tampa is not Vancouver we don't want other stars sacrificing pay to win the Cup.

Htf does Yzerman keep doing this. Totally unfair.

...got the rest of the league and teams like Vancouver paying players like Sutter $4.5M and then Houdini here just does his magic and gets Kuch for $4.75M when he's worth $6.5M+ on the open market.

Man....

Taxes my friend...

Them Russians are all out for themselves, just looking to get paid, not really team players.....

Anyhow, that's a shocker - he really took one for the team, obviously wants to win.

He'll certainly have some leverage in three years if he elects to use it.

Every player is looking to get paid.  The "Russian" talk is gettin old...Lot of players have and will hold out.

Remember the good ol Canadian kid Doughty??

Poughty - not a fan.

But the 'Russian talk' was sarcasm JV.  A  Russian just gave about as big a hometown discount as you're going to see in the modern NHL.
