Where'd Luongo? Posted October 14, 2016 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Lets say we end up barely out of playoffs and get a mid-round pick in the 1st round. Would Boeser come play for the Canucks? Boeser won't be UFA for 2 years after this one which makes it 3 seasons from now. He's too good and won't be in NCAA for that long. He'll sign after his season ends and be with the Canucks next year. He will probably be eligible at the end of his season to sign with us this year but that would burn a year off his RFA so we won't see him until next year.
