RGMG 4.0 Team Draft

 

Things to consider when selecting teams:

  • You will get 23 players that started on the NHL active roster in the 2016/17 season. Some adjustments are made for Nail to work in players that were on the LTIR.
  • Draft picks will be authentic (based on real life)
  • Cap will be 73M
  • Perks have been changed SIGNIFICANTLY.
  • Contract max will be 8.5M, so anyone over will be bumped down to it.
  • You can protect 7 prospects (not in the NHL)
  • Instead of a prospect, you can protect a player that your team has rights too. (LAK - Voynov, DAL - Nichuskin, STL - Sobotka, for example...)
  • You get ONE compliance buyout (eligible for the first two season)
  • You get ONE contract negotiation.
  • After your compliance buyout, you will have to use buyouts based of the system IRL.
  • ROSTER RATINGS ARE DIFFERENT, DO NOT BASE THIS OFF 3.0!

Perks:

Instead of perks, everyone will gets 8 scouts. (only for the 1st season, it will be 6 after)

 

They can be used for the following.

 

Internal update (for NHLers)

  • Will tell you current level of player
  • Use at anytime.

 

External update (for NHLers)

  • Will tell you current level of player
  • Use at anytime.

 

NHL readiness (for prospects)

  • Will tell you if prospect is NHL ready, and if not, how close.
  • Use after AHL stats released.

 

Draft scout (for draft eligible prospects)

  • Will give you short bio and rating for prospect outside the 1st round.
  • Use at entry draft.

 

Add position

  • Add an additional position to your player.
  • Use before the season starts.

 

Outside AHL Stats

  • Get stats for prospects not playing in the AHL (CHL, Europe, College, etc...)
  • Use at end of season.

 

Remember, each one counts as ONE. So using one draft scout, will give you ONE bio/rating for a prospect in the entry draft.

Just an update, after further consideration there will be NO european free agents before year 1 of the simulation so there is no perk for that anymore.

 

There will still be 8 perk points in year 1, as the extra 2 points may help you get to know your teams rosters a bit more.

 

Edit: Forgot to add, once a GM has picked their team, please send me a PM titled "(Insert Team Name) - RGMG 4.0". Here you may send me the 7 prospects you would like to protect, and if you would like to use your perk points you may.

Donating to the website

Contribution to the league (trade tracking, editing cap sheets, helping basically)

Time participating in league (dating back to RGMG 1.0)
 

No skipping.
