Master Mind
That's too bad. Was hoping he'd be able to stick in the NHL.

Mackcanuck
When the Ducks grabbed Etem they were left with $335K cap room according to General Fanager and still need to sign Hampus Lindholm. MayRay signed a 2 way contract paying $225K in the AHL

Vanisleryan
As soon as they claimed Etem I knew this was coming. Too bad I liked Mayson Raymond but the league has never been as competitive as it is now. Fringe guys really need to bust there a$& to keep there jobs. apollo
Hope someone in the east picks him up... and he does well. Would love to see him succeed. He gets a lot of a BS around here but the guy put his heart on his sleeve for us and almost got paralyzed fighting for the Blue & Green in the SCF. Nothing but good hopes for him. oldnews
He had some good seasons for the Canucks - played 'real good' two way hockey - particularly before his spinal injury - wish him the best.

I met Mason in Toronto at the Canucks pre-game skate. Classy kid, and well educated, hopefully he gets another shot in the NHL. That back injury was tragic, and to be able to come back and play at that high level in the NHL, says something about his character. All you that have dissed him should walk a mile in his shoes. TimberWolf
Remember when there was going to be a drinking game about him going down in a game. Hope no one actually played it, their livers must be in bad shape.
PhillipBlunt
Good luck, Mason. Decent human being who deserved a better shot with the Ducks. Etem is just going to disappoint again there. Should have stayed with Raymond. Still bugs me that Boychuk got nothing for breaking Raymond's back. Truly disgusting.
